As a DPT myself, I deeply appreciate how you explained the sequence and muscle activation in this video! Thank you so much!

Brilliant video. So easy to take in information the way you present it. Are there plans to do similar videos on the gait cycle or step up? I've had a look through the channel but couldn't find anything, sorry if it's already been covered. Thanks again for the content

I know this is an older video but hopefully you still see this. For the foot shift after the initial flexion phase, what would be the difference if the knees or body were shifted forward so that the feet are shifted 10 cm back while staying stationary. Would that be basically the same thing?

Is there a primary source? I went to one that I thought was it but didn't find the graphs showing the activity of the different muscles

Phenomenal video, loved the insight! What study did you use the EMG data from?

Thank you! For whatever reason, I'm not able to access it at this time, but it is definitely Khemlani, 1999; and I think the exact article is "Muscle Synergies and Joint Linkages in Sit-To-Stand Under Two Initial Foot Positions".

Can you explain why to this question. When I sit for 5-10 min my lower back locks up, then I have this hunch to my back until I walk bit then the pain goes away. I currently have a pain my left hip and I have lower left back pain. Are they connected?
