of course they come out with an updated kit. I just bought a CK25 AR a while back. I still need to get out and practice with it some more, but just for the battery placement and removal I might just get this kit.

Man... I bought a carpet knife last year and never actually ran it bc I was super new and couldn't even get around the track with a rental Traxxas car. Everyone has been racing for years and as fun as it was building. I totally suck at carpet racing 😢. I like the idea of rubber tires that you don't have to true... That was another big limiter for me actually spending time racing.

You got this! The learning curve is steep but so rewarding once you start figuring it out

You mentioned your running the Awesomatix gear diff. What's the process of filling it with fluid?
@Dorkyand4011 күн бұрын
Usually just wet the gears with something around 50w ish. Doesn’t take much to get it to act thick. Then it’s easier to clean out if you need to go lighter or thicker but it’s nice to have a lighter ball diff and then a spool for heavy traction.

I have a 21 Xray but looking to upgrade. When ordering the kit what additional parts do you recommend?

There’s a few things. Have some testing tomorrow and I can give a better answer. The crc stuff is low cost and you can still go crazy but you can also save and or spend the savings a bit more wisely.

Crc rubber vs gravity gt12 tires?
@Dorkyand4017 күн бұрын
Both seem just as fast as the other. Just have to be ok with running a larger tire.
