hello sir is that microcontroller from stm32 or avr ??pic??i have the same bike mosfets are good i think koz no shurtcut on input power but no control its hard to open it for me

You have to remove all the spokes, it was not easy. I can’t remember the processor and the bike is long gone now I’m afraid.

Its a microchip pic dsPIC30F6015. See my other answer.

Hey there, I wonder what issues you were experiencing for you to need to fix those components. I have an Easy Grace with same system. Bike is in great condition and works. But the power is intermittent. I wonder if I have a torque sensor problem or if my controller got overheated like yours. Everything seems to work fine, but for this power issue where it comes and goes.

Zero Point my problem was “when the wheel was turning round it was cogging or the wheel had resistance when spinning with no power on.” So something could be shorting out somewhere. Or could be your controller as they are prone to fail.

@@smartazz Yes, I wonder about what usually happens when the controller starts to fail. I have been searching for someone who might have been able to identify what the issue might be, as maybe it is a common one. I am thinking that I may have to go down the same route as you and use an external controller. But I wonder, if I did that, would I be able to continue to use my bionx display and battery.

Hey ! Sorry for the late answer, I have the same ebike and intermittent power problem, and was wondering if you had found a solution?

@@MrVal0uch Hey, Still got bike. Riding it occasionally, but still has problem. Guessing that it won't be an easy fix. Did consider doing the conversion. Can you describe what you experience while riding yours? Cheers

Can you tell me how you opened the motor? Or maybe there's a website that shows that?

Take all the spokes out. Then take the gearbox out Remove all screws Then you need to pull it apart, not easy to do.

do you know where is the speed sensor

I’m afraid not sorry

As long as the gate voltage is the same on both FETs, you'll be fine mate. The bad news......The usual cause for gate-drain short is overvoltage so the trigger voltage might be a little high and it might happen again (unless the new FETs are higher tolerance).

It happened again. So that’s a fail. Iv completely removed the controller from the hub and fitted an external controller that now works :) happy days

@@smartazz how much watts are you running to the hub from the external controller?
@TheHeartCharmer4 жыл бұрын
@@smartazz Does that mean that you do not have regen feature now?
