Well I just came across this video by chance. I am a carp angler from Europe and I had no idea that such a device even existed. Mounted one on my spodding rod and oh man, best advice ever. Thanks for that

Fantastic, glad the fishing tip was helpful, I really like this device for casting braided lines.

haha awesome to see you using this Mark. really helps with the casting doesn't it especially wen u surfcast full time. a good tip for the cable tie is to melt the cut ends off with a lighter to soften the sharp tips
@Fishingreminder2 жыл бұрын
Cheers Peter, yeah this thing makes it so much easier to cast longer distances. Luckily I saw you using it :) Thanks for the tip with the cable ties, sounds like a good idea.

Nah, it's in New Zealand 🙂

@@Fishingreminder amazing it looks very like a beach on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland 🤣
@@SpiralMoss haha, what's the beach fishing like in Ireland? Any good? I've only been to Ireland once, a long time ago, and didn't do any fishing back then.

@@Fishingreminder it's quite good plenty of flatfish, bass, harmless shark's, not any man eater's. Coalies cod sometimes, whiting

I use a piece of bicycle old tube from tyres in my finger, much better, you can feel the line and protect your finger and it is free, just ask to any tyre shop, they rubbish them....just a tip. My one is called bionic real free finger hahaha , I enjoy your channel.

That's a great tip, thanks. I lost my trigger a while ago. Might try your method.

How do you attach it to you finger? Do you fit it like a glove? Loose with a string attached to your finger?
@mob-kw9hz6 ай бұрын
@@RaffyMaBoijust put your finger in it. It would be better if you used a thin bike tube though

if u fish somewhere with 4 rods and fish bites, this is good product. Unfortunately i live on adriatic coast, where its easier to find wife than fish
@Fishingreminder4 ай бұрын
shame, maybe better to concentrate on wifeing rather than fishing then :)

You should use the Breakaway one only. The cheap ones will fall apart.

This is an absolute finger saver but i dont think it will affect the casting distance for an experienced angler. The only con in my opinion is when the trigger fail it will definitely break your rod with the casting force.
@The_ABG7 ай бұрын
I was very sceptical, but I find I can put a lot more power into my cast with the bionic finger.

Remind me how many casting champions have this ha ha ha they don’t work ! I had to use hose clips to attach it and it wouldn’t hold the line properly. It’s a gimmick so apply tape to your finger is better

Exactly💯...! Cool device,... but I favour my conventional/ multiplier reels ... 1st choice every time......I own several high-end spinners ... just not my preference for long distance casting... as for the spinning reel brigade,.. please continue... 🤙😎👍

@@Fishingreminder One guy I saw had an even better technique. On one leg and with one hand the butt grip of the rod. And not on a beach. On an open quayside. Like a cross between a javelin thrower, a shot putter and a springboard diver.
