The Templar Studio parts are the best. They never felt like they were designed only for kids as some of the other parts did. I love how they were able to make characters feel expressive with no voice acting and minimum facial expressions. It takes special creative talent to be able to pull that off.

Canonically, they weren't with the Toa at that time. Presumably they were back in Ta-Koro. Of course, the online animations seem to contradict that by implying that at least Takua was with the Toa to witness the battle.
