He then nearly drowns ("Baptizes") Booker and so the game progresses. At the ending we see him again, as the preacher who baptizes Booker and therefore facilitates the birth of Comstock. Even though when Booker was first baptized after wounded knee,and he would have looked similar to the Booker we know (i.e. no beard), Preacher Witting does not recognize him as he can no longer see him. Sorry if this was already posted, just found it amusing on my second playthrough

Yo ! To people who will read this comment here's a piece of advice to beat that final part in 1999 mode : - Spread a lots of traps all over the way of your ennemies; they'll be slow and it will be easier to destroy them (Shock Shockey, Devil's Kiss,...); - Don't forget to use your Vigor Undertown to push the rockets ennemies overboard; - The Motorized Patriots won't attack you cause they're focusing on their objective (destroy the energy source) : you can place some free hits behind them with your Sky-Hook + the gear "ELECTRIC TOUCH" or the gear "ELECTRIC PUNCH (DLC)" : very very effective; - Use and take advantage of the map : there is a LOT of Medikit, Salt infusions and you can use the Sky-Lines to push the rockets ennemies overboard; - Songbird should be used 4 to 5 times in a quick battle : keep in mind you need to use him strategically for the two last zeppellin (don't call him everytime you see the Motorized Patriots); - The bigger are the ennemies you destroyed with Songbird, the more you will need to wait; Good luck and don't forget... "One thing I've learned: if you don't draw first, you don't get to draw at all."

The Saddest parts were 1-Little Sister crying near Big Daddy. She is vulnerable, defenseless, and is scared 2-Songbird's death. His green eyes before he died showed he was happy. There's a theory going around with evidence that Songbird( "Booker") is trying to protect Elizabeth from main character Booker
@13MiniMidgets Жыл бұрын
It's not theory, it's plain fact. The ending shows that booker and Comstock are the same person and that comstock/future booker is using songbird to protect Elizabeth from his past self aka present booker. That's why our booker is the "false shepard" because Comstock (future booker) is trying to prevent his past self (our booker) from taking his daughter back.

What this doesn't mention is that the "Revenge of the Jedi" reference was actually a hidden spoiler: It hints at the fact that Booker is Elizabeth's father, as the huge reveal/plot twist of Return of the Jedi was that Vader was Leia's father. Subtle hints. Very subtle.

When I saw that last post-credit scene, I chose to believe that Anna/Elizabeth was in her crib. I haven't played any of the DLC, but I like to think that Booker stuck with Anna after all, and there is a universe where Booker and Anna lived out their lives happily. And then died of the Spanish flu 20 years later, because everything was awful back then.

The Collection was the worst set of remasters I have ever seen. The only good thing they did was remove the physics frame capper in 1 and 2. In the remastered Bioshock 1 and 2, the texture quality was inconsistent, the lighting was worse than the original versions, and there was reported to be loads of crashes in the remastered Bioshock 2.

For me, the game was beautifully made. I still come back and watch all the videos just to relive the whole thing. With regards to the bit with Anna at the end, I like to think she's there. It actually makes me quite happy believing that she grew up to be an Elizabeth type character, but one with a better childhood and a father who (maybe is subconsciously aware of what had happened) cares for her. This is the only game so far that I have played that has invoked that level of emotion from me

the songbird easter egg planted in bioshock 1 is amazing, talk about thinking ahead of time...
@EpicMusicSoul10 жыл бұрын
Exactly! That easter egg was the coolest in my opinion. If you were really involved in the games, it is kind of shocking to think that Jack was paying attention to the piano guy dying while another shocking event (songbird's death) was happening...
@EpicMusicSoul10 жыл бұрын
***** It's very probable as well, of course. I just like thinking it was actually done thinking "ahead of time". Makes me get more attached to the game d:

I'm not sure if the second easter egg is really an easter egg. SPOILER ALERT: Knowing that the whole basis of the plot of the game surrounds around parallel universes the preacher and splicer could be the same person with the constant of being the greeter for the player

Yeah, by all accounts he should recognize Booker since he baptized him or attempted to in the past. I never thought of that till now but if he wasn't blind he would find it odd seeing 'Comstock' younger and just arriving in town but the blindness fixes it.

How does nobody notice that the police's sketch of "The False Shepard" is supposed to look like Andrew Ryan?
@dunngyllite788310 жыл бұрын
Now THAT's what I call an easter egg. I was staring at that portrait and was sure that is was actually showing a real person - just couldn't make up, who that was. Other than that: as mentioned before, many of those "easter-eggs" shown here are far from being really easter-eggs - but still the clip was well edited and nicely put together. Didn't fail to entertain. Kudos to the maker.
@eloisapaulamedina7289 жыл бұрын
Really?? Wow. I was wondering why the sketch looked so far from what Booker looks like. Haven't played Bioshock, actually, but I'm thinking about it. It just seems so much harder to play than Infinite. Splicers creep me out.
@dunngyllite78839 жыл бұрын
Don't dream it - be it... Bioshock is an absolute must-play. It's darker and sort of creepier than Infinite, but do yourself a favor and have a go. You will not regret it.
@Kjf3654 жыл бұрын
When I saw that I thought "that HAS to look like someone" and Mr. Ryan was one of the people that came to mind. Also one other detail I don't know if they actually thought of or not, but at the end of the bible, there's a part that essentially says "this is done being written, and the next time you hear something big from God it will be the return of Jesus" which it then goes on about false prophets. Something Comstock turns out to be. Is Comstock meant to be one of those false prophets from the bible?
