In my 30 years of being a gamer, one of the best and most memorable experiences I ever had was shooting up in that rocket from the stormy dark clouds of the lighthouse into the heavenly skies of Columbia. The music was just perfect. And then being baptized and opening the doors into Columbia seeing it in all its glory and beauty, with that awesome soundtrack...just amazing. And then stumbling upon the barbershop quartet singing God Only Knows by The Beach Boys. It’s so calming and so beautiful to look at, but you have this thought in the back of your head that this beautiful utopia is about to show its true colors sooner or later and some serious shit is about to go down.

Tell me this wouldn’t make an AMAZING mini series on Netflix or HBO. Episode 1: beginning of the game to when Booker and Elizabeth fall into the ocean 0:00-1:16:43 Episode 2: Booker wakes up in his memory of “wiping away the debt” to when Elizabeth knocks Booker out on the First Lady 1:16:43-2:30:45 Episode 3: Booker wakes up on the First Lady to when the Songbird takes down the airship 2:30:45-4:01:15 Episode 4: Booker and Elizabeth wake up on the airship to when the Songbird throws Booker up into Comstock House 4:01:17-5:22:28 Episode 5: Booker wakes up in his “wipe away the debt” memory to the end of the game 5:22:28-6:41:46 I don’t know who would play each character but ever since I played this game when it first came out, I ALWAYS saw Armie Hammer as brother Lutece.

Just finished this. I finished it in about 3-4 sittings and man, what a mind-blowing experience! I was genuinely immersed in it despite going through some stress in life but every time I played this, it made everything go away. I will always remember it as one of the best video games ever.

An excellent Bioshock entry. I understand why some people don't like it as much, because at first it didn't quite grasp me. The difference between this and the first two was a bit too much at the beginning, but then the story started unfolding, I got used to the new mechanics, I started seeing the similarities between the three games, and I really started to like it (especially the second half). Thank 2K for the DLC, because when the game finished I really wanted more. My favorite of the series will still remain Bioshock 2 + Minerva's Den (unpopular opinion, I think), but Infinite is really good.

Elizabeth essentially opens up a portal to an alternate world and replaces herself and Booker in that world. The basics of the alternate world are the same but certain possibilities down the timeline differ. I haven't finished the game so I don't know everything yet but this is what I understood.
