Great video Steve I use to live there back in the late 70s. It looks so different now much bigger beach. My parents lived here for many years and we still have friends there.many fond memories of spear fishing and fishing with a bamboo rod.i used to hunt octopus with a hand line by the polo pool.A big hello to hazel who still lives there and daughters Sam and Nicky take care love from Wayne-James-Trudi -Lisa 👍

Thank you for the beautiful afternoon stroll Steve 🚶🏼🌊☀️🎣🛥🏖 I’m a bit late watching your videos this past week as it’s half term so I’m busy entertaining my little girl 🥰 I’ve said many times how much we love Birzebbuga. And contrary to what many others have said I actually think that the Freeport adds to its charm! I love to sit on the beach and watch the ships coming and going 🥰🚢🛳🛥

Beautiful tour along the seaside of Birżebbuġa. It made my day, just to see the start of the tour, at Water´s Edge Hotel. Been staying there so many times. Another great one Steve. There is a website called 'Skyline Webcams'. Click on Malta and it brings up lots of cameras that are LIVE all around Malta. One of them is placed on top of the block of flats above the fish and chip shop that Rose and Steve had a meal. The camera looks across the bay over to the water polo pitch and there is one the other side looking back. A Maltese lady friend of mine in the UK goes on some of the church services. She hasn't been able to get back to St Venera to see her family or go to the local church for mass so Marie loves the website.

Evening Steve. Nice to see the bit of Birzebbugia I'm most familiar with - the bars and restaurants facing the beach at the start and sad to see them doing no trade. I do enjoy hanging out round there with a beer and some lunch, although Bordas will get my trade next time. Perhaps had you hauled on the big chain, you'd have pulled the plug out of the Med. Look forward to pt 3.

Hi Steve, thanks for the video, I look forward to part 3 which will include the parish church as I never been able to look inside it as I always found it closed the times I've been over there, hopefully you go at Festa's time as usually would be decorated, and what a co-incident you managed to make a video of the Queen & Prince Philip's villa at their time in Malta, and a few days later, the Queen's Husband passes away, in which I'm sorry about his passing, he's been a part in my childhood and part of Malta's history too, bye 4 now Steve C U next video.

Nice.... on my last day in Malta before flying to Medjugorje, in August 2019, I walked that same route.... I had rabbit stew around the corner from that cafe/restaurant you pointed out at the start.... Our friends Joe and Elaine have the Travellers Bar in Bugibba, they flew Johnny over to play on the 5th anniversary of their bar a while back. These videos make us want to return to Malta so much.
