Seriously there is no better feeling than watching people just light up and smile from ear to ear showing off there hobby/collection and talking about it. It’s so refreshing to just see good people enjoy our hobby as much as they do. This gentleman has a great collection and his joy is infectious! Great video.

You can tell this guy has a big heart he sounds like a very, very sweet man. I bet he took great care of his kids . having depression, myself, and taking care of Shrimp seems so much more rewarding when they breed which I’ve become obsessed with for some odd reason. This is a very wonderful nice relaxing video. Great job keep it up. I love your video.

Tony is a absolute legend! We both ordered fish from Melbourne but I got stuck at work due to a covid lock down. Tony looked after mine until I could make it back there to pick them up. Didn't ask for anything in return although I did offer to pay him. Thanks again Tony if you happen to read this 🙂

Yes. With moderate light (like here), they etiolate and lose their lower leaves, looking like little palm trees. With higher lighting, the internodes get shorter and try he leaves are denser. They look like little amazon swords.

Beautiful! I love that he both selectively breeds for better fish AND has such compassion for fish that he lovingly cares for those that are less than perfect. Single-species tanks are some of my favorites too. My Emperor Tetras raised young in a 100-gallon stock pond I had in a Berkeley California apartment decades ago - a blackwater pond with a pair of adult Uarus, hatchetfish, pencilfish, lemon tetras, and other fish. I was amazed when I first found baby lemon and emperor tetras in the pond. So fun. Could hang out there all day with him and never get bored.💙

I was thinking when you’re doing some of these showings maybe you should have the fish type on the screen, where is comes from, natural habitat, water parameters ect. Just for people like me who have never heard of some of the species before and can do some research from there.

Great tour. Tony has a unique style of aquascaping that must be influenced by his landscaping work; it's very rock forward as apposed to a plant/driftwood focus. His choice of plants compliments the rockwork very well. It has a real Australian essence to it... watch out for Aussie style in the next IAPLC!

This is enjoyable video. If I may share, as I breed anglefish for hobby. We can take the eggs after 24-36 hours, put them into container add methylene blue, light aeration. This gives more chance for the fries to survive. Most of the parents eat their fries unfortunately

Ohh- at 07:50 I’m pretty sure it’s one or the other, either _Hygrophila corymbosa_ or broad-leaved variety of _Ludwigia repens_ though I don’t know for sure. It also resembles _Hygrophila polysperma_ ‘Green’ as well…

Cory's try a bigger tank with nooks and cranny's you should get a few survivors each time which could be deemed a natural reproduction in the size of the aquarium, they're stream fish that shoul in small groups so if theyre too compact and everything accessible in a restricted area they would just naturally eat the eggs and or the eggs get damaged where they scurry around

The Spotted Blue Eyes (white version) is super nice. I do small batches of breeding with mine. Started with a pair and now I have about a dozen. My lfs has the gold version, but they are not as nice as the white ones. I actually brought 14 of them into my lfs for store credit. Shortly after I left, someone came in and bought 8 pairs. Mine isn't pure white like the ones in the video. Mine has a small gold tip at the bottom tail.
