From the birds point of view, it was a plane strike;)

That's exactly what those windows are designed to do :)

Love the Captains reaction of ducking his head to avoid not getting hit by the bird .. Just like sitting behind the goalie at an NHL game and getting a slap shot at the glass from the puck .. Love the human reaction ..:)

This bird really gives you an idea how fast the airplane is flying in reality.

@Slaterator they didn't invent the fly-by-wire system, it was already invented even before airbus existed as a company
@musimage10011 жыл бұрын
@CaptainFullHD12 жыл бұрын

@AlekreSD It'q just 1000m, not so high for a bird

@AviationWorlwide Hard to tell without seeing it, could simply be an old or bad paint job starting to peel off. Bird strike : unlikely. Lightning : more often hits the radome.

Nice Shoot :-) A what speed?

I have a question. I've seen a Air France A319 at the airport a few days ago and above the window the paint was off.Do you think it was a bird strike or just a lightning ? Pls Reply Thanks :)

Dam that bird was up there. What was the altitude? Would say at least 20000ft.

Unique capture. I nearly had one the other day and did the same thing as you did, duck out of the way as an instant reaction.

Looks like a hawk. The plane must have been on approach as I fully expected to only see the bird in 1 or so frames before the strike. Also, the bird was coming off axis quite a bit, which also makes me thing the airplane was flying very slowly.

@FastLife79 The undercast is deceptive, but we were only at 4000'.

When something hits your wind screen at 350 kph, it is surprising, to say the least...

LOL, you had luck that this bird was not flying a bit to the left, where the engines are. and what abaout turning on the wipers ?

Devez. Vous descendre. Pour avoir. Une atmosphère correcte , merci de votre réponse
@CaptainFullHD11 жыл бұрын

that hawk was very hungry , or other wise it was protecting its airspace. it was like manuvering straight to the nose of the plane , if you watch it enough you see it.

@VFA103JollyRogers Scarebus ? Relax ! Airbus is #1 in the world. Always one step ahead of Boeing. Don´t get me wrong. I like the 747-200 and - 300 classic and also the 757 for example. But Airbus is still the technological leader. They had the guts to invent fly by wire for example. And the design is always leading. The 737 is just a schoolbus. The A 320 is a fine limousine !! ;-)
