Virtual birding trip in Thailand to Phetchaburi Rice Fields, with me to see some breeding season rice field birds. Birding in Thailand rice fields is an experience that always provides many interesting bird sightings. The breeding season is a good time to see some species at their best, in their colourful breeding plumage including three species of weaver birds. I always visit Phetchaburi rice fields when I am leading birding tours in Thailand for its high concentration of birds and large number of species that can be seen in a short space of time. In this video of my birding adventures in Thailand I show birders species as varied as Bronze-winged Jacana, Blue-tailed Bee-eater, Javan Pond Heron, Streaked Weaver, Asian Openbill, Lesser Whistling Duck, Zitting Cisticola and the incredible nests of Baya Weaver; just some of the birds in this virtual birding trip.
