Great video - thanks! Any chance of a view out across the sands including Priest Skear would be very interesting also. This area has uncovered recently (sand gone from it) and film like this will be very useful to monitor the changes and positions of the channels. Thanks very much!

Would be very interesting to see a similar flight in twelve months time comparing the coastal erosion which has been considerable over the last winter. The OS map shows a rocky area known as Priest Skeir about half a mile off Red Bank, there are a number of vehicles part buried in the sea bed, might be interesting viewing at low water.

Not seen that. red bank is just a bit further up but never seen buried cars on there. that would be cool though

I was on holiday in 1981 at Sandside caravan park at the top of St Michaels Lane. At the beginning of the 14 days, someone had a Vauxhall Viva about 100 yards onto the beach. Whether they left it deliberately, I don't know, but it was gone before we finished the holiday.
