Black Canary passes out due to exhaustion all the time, it’s nothing new. It’s expected, especially after using it for as long and as powerful she did.

Over & over & over again! & another scene where all the men pass out with multiple women standing over them? Not 1 good guy in that whole show either.

I thought it was great. I kind of understand why they gave it the R rating, but wish it had PG-13. It was like Deadpool Light, or John Wick Junior...not quite as bloody, but plenty of action (despite Grace saying there wasn't much action - she then went on to break down the 7 big action scenes, each around 5-10 minutes long, making up nearly an hour of action in the hour and 50 minute movie, lol). I hope more people do see this in the next few weeks. It'll probably still be a "flop" because it didn't make a Billion Trillion Marvel Dollars...but it was well worth my money and I'd see it again.

Harley was broken out of prison by The Joker at the end of Suicide Squad. How come she's able to freely live in Gotham if she's on the run? Montoya's a cop and she knew Harley was living free in Gotham. Batman put her in the slammer in the first place, doesn't he re-collect her? Doesn't Amanda Waller want her back?

Black Canary and Black mask are two of my favourite characters it it was really hard to watch them being portrayed like this. Just very disappointed.

Tbh I think that it's good that Montoya being gay isn't a big deal. It's a part of who she is not all of who she is so " having a scene where she notices another woman " would be inappropriate in my opinion

Personally I was worried about the film, but overall enjoyed it. It lacked in areas such as character structure and development (Cassandra....? Harley’s outfit....? Gold...? Since when...?) and black Canary should of used her powers waaaay more. Although I found the action scenes quit enjoyable especially the last quarter of the film is all action so I have to disagree with grace there (first time for everything lol) they also should of used way more Easter egg opportunity! Go into this movie with understanding it isn’t a serious movie and you’ll enjoy

I think that the reason Black Canary fainted after using the canary cry was because she was tired from battling all those guys plus id'd assume that it takes a lot of power and probably took a lot of breath to use especially if she is not using it much or could 've possibly been the first time she ever used it. Just my guess.

Agree on the writing - Quinn desperately needed a comedy writer, there’s so much of her, specially with all the VO but like Suicide Squad she’s actually not very funny, even though the movie keeps setting her up like she’s going to deliver the punchlines. The movie overall could of used tightening and sharpening, feels like it wants to be early Guy Ritchie or Tarantino with its unorthodox structure, but the writing and expert editing is nowhere close. Also, Black Mask and Ewan McGregor didn’t do it for me, he felt totally miscast, he just didn’t inhabit that part for me, he looked uncomfortable in the outfits, the campiness was half assed, and he wasn’t scary. Needed an Anthony Carrigan, a darker NoHo Hank would have unpredictable and dangerous. The black mask did nothing to change or enhance the character, it felt like a throwaway. Villain cliches made him dull and predictable. Did like that third act though, should have brought them together sooner, nice chemistry between the five of them.

The R rating seemed wasted to me. I was upset that I didn’t get more lgbt stuff out of a gay club owning bdsm enthusiast super villian character. Sheesh, I wish I would have watched this before I saw it today, but I wanted to like it. I had a smile on my face as I was watching most of the movie, but I kept wondering to myself why. Also, all the knee breaking action made me cringe. During the fun house scene I kept feeling it would get better and I’d see some amazing acrobatics from the trampoline and other set pieces, but it just whelming. Such a disservice to many beloved characters.
