154CM Griptillians are being discontinued and replaced with S30V steel Griptillians. Some of the coated blades with serrations are being discontinued in other lines. That 770 BM is nice! Hope you go buy and bought it??!!

They are selling what is left in 154 and all new ones will be made with S30V. Mini Grips just started. Makes them both close.

They are slowly transitioning up to S30V for all lines. Prices remaining the same on the Grips! Nothing else has changed steels yet from what I have seen.

I hoped to get there, just to see Brad and "the corner guy" to pick up a piece or two I've been wanting to handle before I buy, but didn't make it. I didn't realize you guys were locals as well. I have a Gen1 (late '80s/early '90s?) Cold Steel Recon Tanto fixed blade I carried shortly after I got out of the Marine Corps. The new models aren't nearly as nice or I would grab another. I've become less of a Cold Steel fan over the years. Nice haul, though, especially those $3 SAKs.

Oh boy I almost cried and had a heart attack. I just bought my first Benchmade griptilian 553 and loved it and I’m definitely planning on getting other variants. The minute they said that I almost took out a loan and would have bought 2 of each version one for use and one as investments but now I can rest easy 😅

I may or may not have bought 154cm, D2, S30v, and an M4 mini Grips in the past 2 months. The M4 was a spendy custom from Benchmade's site, but the others were deals due to the discontinuation. Even the S30V was only $80.

The Griptilian is too popular a knife to be Discontinued, but they are finally upgrading the steel to s30v , and they are going to be the same price. You can get some 154cm Grip's at a lower price though , places are clearing out the old stock .

I was looking for an edc and I couldn't find the right one... I bought some on Amazon and ended up turning them because I didn't like them. I saw one in this video that was on display and I did some research and found out it was the Kershaw 2335 AM 3. I bought it and I kept it, nice lil knife... I would of nvr found out about this knife if I hadn't seen you video. Keep it up 👍
