Lovely! I wish we had Christmas markets like that here in Perth. It wouldn't have the same atmosphere, though, as it's too hot. I'd like to have a snowy Christmas.

@joanfreestone1707 thanks Joan. Yes I bet Christmas is very different in a hot sunny climate! Do you have Christmas on the beach? We haven't had snow on Christmas Day for a number of years now but when it does happen it is magical.

@@TravellingLightLisa It's usually too hot to go to the beach. You burn your feet on the sand. We always have the day at home and sit out on the patio if it's not too hot.

Useful price information. Did you meet any Germans ? Most stalls are run by Polish people. Like you said, good to sample the atmosphere. I'll be visiting.

Lovely to visit the Christmas Market there in Birmingham, Lisa and Giles. Would love to browse the merchandise and indulge in the food and drink. We'll leave the ice skating to others. As you age the bones don't heal up like they used too! 🤣🤣Enjoyed your visit. Thanks for bringing us along. PS- I know you both don't indulge, but the best part of watching today is that we just bought some bratwurst this morning. Getting set to grill them up soon! (still morning here) 😁😁

You had a lot of snow on Monday. LOL. I agree with Giles , it did get me in the Christmas spirit. We haven't been to the German Christmas market for a fair few years, maybe we'll give it a go this year. I thought the vegan hot dog looked delicious. Was there any other vegan choices?
