I just love Kirstie, and her spontaneous, generous offer of lending them the 2k so that they wouldn't lose the house just added to her charm for me. And the pulsating, swelling chair made me laugh out loud! A fab episode, thank you so much for the upload. You brighten my day when you offer new episodes.

I live in the US and enjoy watching these British realty shows so much more than the ones we have here. Over here, the producers think they have to have arguments between the couples, show way over budget houses, etc to create more drama. British shows are SO much more enjoyable to warch.
@FigaroHey9 ай бұрын
Possibly the US format just doesn't have the magic of Phil and Kirstie to carry the show. Seriously, I think most people watch it for Phil and Kirstie, not so much for the 'hunt for a house' and the 'drama of making a deal' or whatever. But you're totally right. With charming, experienced, intelligent hosts who have real chemistry and visible affection for each other, instead of just hair-dos running a game-show, why do you need artificial drama?
@kathleenmartin74989 ай бұрын
@@FigaroHey there are quite a few property shows like this here in the US and they ALL are overly dramatic. Also, it has been exposed that at least one show, House Hunters, has featured couples who already have bought their new home, but the show films it as though they were still searching. I also like the British series, Escape to the Country.

Really enjoyed this episod, thank you for posting! 2 very different couples but very charming. I particularly appreciated the scenery shown during the video and the houses very nice, great deals. Also, I like Kirsty's sense of dress; she knows the style and the colours which suit her. With Phil, they're the best! Hope to see an update on the couples.

I am so happy that they were able to purchase their homes! It would have been a real shame if they hadn't been able to get that house because they were short a few thousand dollars of the asking price. And the other couple came in several thousand dollars under budget from the asking price it was brilliant! I want to see these couples in a few years after they have made their houses their home and put their stamp on them.

Babe, I want to disagree in regard to your final question comments. I thought it was brilliant. It was a progression: beauty had a set standard, but mom taught her to accept her own beauty, as a result she already is using her beauty and intelligence to influence young girls, but yet still be able to draw from the support of her pageant sisters. At that point I KNEW that she and Cainta would be the last 2 standing. Also, in one of your prior videos I said that as lovely as Iloilo and Ahtisa are, we were going to be surprised. ❤🎉🎉 This young lady won fair and square and is going to do The Philippines proud!

Love the show. I do not know why a person has to say are bipolar on TV. Noone discussed these things in the 1960, 70s, 80s.
@mattneillninasmom8 ай бұрын
Things change, I remember a time when no one said the word "cancer" aloud. Her condition is relevant to requirements in their search for stability, a dedicated room in which to do her sewing, a "tick list" of musts for her mental health. Why are you questioning this as though it were something shameful?

Until the seller signs on the contract it is not a done deal. I had a seller agree to my above asking price cash offer, my buyer's agent sent electronically signed papers to the sellers agent before COB.but the sellers did not sign and I did get the property, as they did not give the curtesy of offering even more $.

Kirsti's outfits are so much more elegant and attractive in this particular series. At times she has looked downriht frumpy, which is a shame because she's not that. But drat that music. Your theme jazz is great and I hum along, but the weird cacophony that plays over top speech is awful!! I want to hear what people are saying, oddly enough... lol

Hated the way the Uk ignored the advice of true epidemiologists and relied on SAGE which was made up predominantly of psychologists. In the USA you had doctors such as Dr Batacharia from Stanford university who was ignored when he did not regard lockdown as the panacea . Everyone ignored Sweden 's approach and they turned out to be right. In the Uk the government itself was taking its rules seriously. I hate the face that there are so many people who are still scared!

Why are they buying such cheap houses in cash rather than taking on a mortgage? That couple looking shocked at the idea of taking on a mortgage when they have £200k in cash?
@andreablamire55095 ай бұрын
I don’t think that Kirsty should assume couples want or can have children!
@trainer163424 күн бұрын
She doesn't - there's a reason why Kirsty does that "talk". When you see follow-ups + revisits the couples go on to have a child or two or they have additional child if they originally only had one child at time of earlier recording.

I have a vague feeling like the usual energy isn't here between Phil and Kirstie this time, like they need to get in sync a bit better. Maybe some negative talk on social media ("I'm not all about knocking Phil")? or just needing to get momentum after a break?
