@@celsetialarchives5909 Psi-Titans are Warlord Titans powered by pyskers and piloted by a Null who controls them. They only turn up at pre-ordained events, no one in the Imperium knows how to summon them, and when they turn up they turn the tide of battle. Their weapons fire psychic energy that almost nothing can defend against, and they are able to channel the warp to rewind time to heal damage they suffer.

The Silent King is every bit as evil as I was led to believe, reading about the War in Heaven, and the Old Ones assessment of him, and his race. Also, the Necrons are not immortal; they're DEAD. They died a long time ago. All that's left, now, are robots with their memories, and false sense of identity, or robots with not even that.

In Warhammer, even when a Body or Soul are destroyed, the person can still be considered alive. So it may be possible to say that the Mind is separate from both Body and Souls and that it houses the true essense of the being.

Read the description of the ghost ark in the old necron codex. Not everyone went willingly. Some tried to hide in the cities and had to be hunted by soldiers, and later the necrons themselves.

It might have been a not so selfles decision by the king, but being given the choice between a short, painful life, dying of cancer of some sort, or being free from pain, more or less immortal ... I know, where my choice would be, even if I am not one for immortality. And I don't think they were told "Well, you get ride of your body and our saviours will eat your soul!", I am not even sure, the Silent King knew himself, before it was to late.

Having such advanced tech that they could put beings of energy into physical bodies. They instead wage a war of pettiness on another race for their mere biology. Rather than using their technology to figure it out.

@@Jadefox32 As far as I understand the story so far, they tried and failed. Meeting the Old Ones, they tried to bargain and failed, ending up in the war in heaven, where they already had "the" answer in shape of the Stargods, that is, whar I base this on.

The Necron race are essentially just that family that happen to be on the same holiday as you. The ones that by some dark magics are always in the places you turn up to before you get there & they are already in full on moan mode. They usually come from Bradford.

@Dr.FeelGood {Malus Thantos} if you are going to apply 2 characters to the whole race that shows how little you know of the lore. Imotek, the Silent King, and so many more are nothing like you described. Do some reading and then come back educated. As far as the Ultramarines I never liked them minus Uriel Ventris. And never played the Grey Knights as a faction they just don't interest me very much.

@eichler721 I'm well aware of Illuminor, Nemesor, Anrakyr and the others and versed in their new lore as much as it burns my eyes. Necrons are my favourite army to play as too, so we share that in common. But as I'm sure you can tell, I prefer their 3rd edition days as opposed to their current show much and tell all about their race that makes them comparable to all the other factions with politics and squabbling structures. I do like Szarekh for all my talk of hating their post 5th edition lore however but I'd prefer if the C'tan didn't get so demoted into being bloody Pokemon.

@Dr.FeelGood {Malus Thantos} honestly if they were full C'tan then they would not be beaten ever and they had to make them fight so they didn't just destroy all forces in front of them. They have an awnser to everything Tau, Tyranids, Chaos and the Imperium can throw at them. Eldar have some warp stuff that messes them up but they are so small in number they can't stop them either. Plus the new models look so dope compared to the old stuff.

@@eichler721 Bit too "War Of The Worlds" in places but some of their newer models look cool but come on, the classic models are great. The Space, Zombie, Terminator, Egyptian vibe they gave off is awesome instead of them being substitute "Space Tomb Kings". Hell, the Pariahs were badass too. I feel Matty boy went too hard in with "Let's give them more personality and characters" and overdid it, since a lot of them are undeveloped or forgotten about.

The ne Ron were actually the reason I was brought into 40k. The second I saw the nightbringer's original model I knew I had to play. And while the necron hold a special place in the universe for me. I am really a Grey knight at heart.
