Happy Birthday! Blood of Hercules came out on kindle unlimited in August as an indie edition before it was picked up for trad publishing, that's how it can be in the goodreads choice awards!

I totally didn't even think of that! Thank you for letting me know. That makes way more sense now.

First, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! You are so right about the cost of books. There has been a few times that I've ordered new hardcover books from Waterstone's and paid for the international shipping and it was still cheaper than getting it from Barnes and Noble with free shipping or even Amazon. I've ordered from Blackwell's before too which is also in the UK but the last time I ordered a book from them the shipping was free. Not sure how they did that when shipping is so expensive from the UK to the US. That's really sad when you can get a new book for less shipped from another country. Definately check prices on both of those sites for new books before buying them from B&N because you can save money. I can understand why Phantasma was put in the horror section because there is a whole lot of gore in it. There is romance and spice, but the "game" people play in it is like a house of horrors. So I'm not surprised you found it in there instead of the fantasy section. There is paranormal aspects and a bit of magic but I wouldn't lump it staight into fantasy. I will be curious after you read it if you agree. I'm also curious what you think of Spark of the Everflame. I saw that book talked about online several times a week for a long time and so I broke down and read it. I won't say what I thought, but I do want to know your feelings on it. One IG accound legit posted a few times a week like she was getting paid to do it before and after I read it and I was like, ENOUGH already. There are hundreds of really great fantasy books, talk about those... ok I'm done waffling. Happy Birthday again!!!

Thank you!!! Yeah I have no idea how Blackwell's does it. I've ordered a few times and it's worked out great. Okay so that's interesting. It's probably a little like Someone You Can Build a Nest In then. That's a weird mix of horror, fantasy, and romance too.

Hi! New sub here. Sorry in advance for the many video likes you received, haha. Such a fun haul! Dating Dismemberment, Morbidly Yours, The Dead Cat Tail Assassins, Phantasma, and The Tainted Cup are all on my to be read/bought! A Novel Love Story was enjoyable, as is most of Ashley Poston's writing. I feel she's a cozy read type of author from the stuff I've read of hers. Blood Haven I'm getting for Christmas already but the red edges in person look lovely. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Mine was the 19th and I spent it doped up getting complete dental implants, the biggest gift I've ever bought myself. Just trying to recover so I can enjoy reading again!!

8:44 tell me you're a fantasy reader without telling me you're a fantasy reader hahah for me it's usually under 150/200 then I consider it a novella EDIT: also yayyy tbr tackle video! I love those, specially with tackling old tbr books or special editions
