Yesterday I was sitting on the loo when I overheard my wife talking to one of our daughters. Sounds like she had got a date. So later on I decided to wind her up while the other daughter was in the room as we ate dinner. I said, I hear one of you has a date. I asked the younger daughter if it was her, and she said no. I asked my wife if she was having an affair, and she said no. And then I said, well, then, it must be you. She was horrified. I went back to the kitchen and then came back and said, but I have good news. I hear that Nigerian men love young women. And now she was furious, cause I'd heard that too. Then I put down a cup of tea and said, here's your "good luck" cup of tea. So, now she won't even speak to me. 😂

Just a tip for future reference. When reacting to comedies, try to talk as little as possible during it. You and the audience will miss some things that are said or jokes. You did a good job on this reaction though 😎

Birthdays can be fun ... or not. Me visiting parents in England with Danish wife and kid (2 years old) who so far has only spoken Danish. Mum: It's your birthday so you get to decide where we got today. (Sister and her husband and 3 kids are also there.) Me: Knowsley Safari Park then. The kids'll love it. Mum: Maybe that's a little too far. What about the fairground in Morecambe? My son then toddles in, hands on hips, looks my mother directly in the face and (to my eternal delight) utters his first ever complete sentence in English: Son: You stupid woman!
