In the twilight clip here's some of the info you were questioning. 1. Bella, the mother, was human for the duration of pregnancy. The father was Edward who was a vampire. 2. The baby was half vampire half human, which craved human blood and was draining it from her mother. So they found a way to supply blood to the baby. 3. They got blood from the hospital because the dad (the blond who put the blood in the cup) was a doctor there. 4. Yeah Bella drinking blood never made sense to me, a blood transfusion would have been much better. 6. They knew the placenta detached because Carlisle is just that good of a doctor somehow. Ultrasounds didn't work on the baby so other than Edward reading the baby's thoughts there wasn't much they could observe inside the womb. In the book they never said placenta anything, it was just that the baby was too strong and was hurting Bella and was ready to be born. 7. Edward had to use his mouth to open the womb because his teeth were the only things strong and sharp enough to get through it. He tried using a scalpel but it only cut her skin not the womb or the amniotic sac. Other vampire hybrids were known to eat their way out of their mothers if they received no assistance and the mothers died. 8. Those movies really were awful.

For point 4, the only thing I could think of to explain why drinking it made it easier/better/more satisfying for the baby is because whatever the pregnant person consumes (food, beverage, etc) is sustenance for the baby too. Baby was previously drawing blood from her environment in the womb, which would sustain life, but not satisfy her craving for actually consuming it. I hope I explained this right lol. The concept makes sense in my head.
@paigeseliger8362 жыл бұрын
@@ashleyshotwell3452 pregnant people have some weird cravings, I guess I had never thought about it needing an explanation beyond that? I remember her being embarrassed about it in the books, recognizing that it was weird to crave it but still wanting it anyway. She started the pregnancy craving eggs and chicken, and it's subtly implied that she was specifically craving RAW eggs and chicken, but obviously she cooked it because she's human and those specific things raw are not so fab for us. It's weird the things that stick in your memory.

I had a captive audience with the several daughters of the family across the street when I showed them the book and explained where babies came from. It was a Catholic family with 7 children in all. I asked her if my baby died, and she reassured me that that’s not what she was saying, she just needed a better look. So we did a vaginal ultrasound, same thing. She ignored my questions, wouldn’t talk to me at all, left the room and had a dr return who informed me that my baby must’ve died around 7-8 weeks and my body didn’t notice. I never had intense bleeding until after that ultrasound, so no clue where my baby went, even as small as they were I had nothing more than spotting prior to that ultrasound. I got no answers. The Midnight Mass has a very interesting concept: (spoilers!) people on this island are given a bit of "vampire" blood with every Eucharist and slowly turning into "vampires" themselves without knowing it, but what this "vampire" stuff does to them (besides eventually giving them bloodlust and photophobia) is curing any diseases and making old people younger (kinda return them to their prime form, I guess). He had just watched that very first video about how men and women were different and how babies were made in health class. He was very serious about it, not gross or weird- he was just literally passing the information on to the kids sitting around him, teaching. I remember this very well because coincidentally, my mother decided to have "The Talk" with me shortly after I got home. She sat me down at the kitchen table and attempted to talk about it. She struggled badly- it was so awkward, drawn out and you could visibly see was flustered. I started laughing... Oh that made her soOo furious! She glared at me and yelled "This is not funny, this is serious. Why are you laughing?!" And I told her "Because a boy on the school bus explained it better than you." The look on her face- flames in her eyes, lol. She just pointed and told me to go to my room.

No cramping no bleeding nothing. At the doctors office they couldn’t find it and so they sent me to the hospital emergency room for a second opinion and unfortunately they couldn’t find the heart beat either. The baby was measuring right around 14 weeks 2 days I believe so they said that the baby passing away had to of been pretty recent. We waited about a month to see if my body would take the natural coarse and unfortunately it didn’t so I had to have a procedure to remove my poor little jelly bean. My biggest regret is not having gotten the gender test when I had the chance. In my heart I feel like he was a boy. It just feels right to me. They ran other tests that came back normal but said that unfortunately it’s a very common thing. One of the worst parts is that I was so nervous like overly nervous. I have insane fears tied into pregnancy and giving birth and I’m a anxious ball of nervous anxiety the whole time especially in the first trimester. A couple days before the appointment I let my guard down since I was technically past the first trimester so I thought I was safe. Unfortunately I was wrong. However we have our rainbow baby now and are so blessed. I do feel like among many other things I wasn’t just robbed of my first sweet little baby I was robbed of piece of mind. For the Quiet Place, as others have said, the whole of the movie is showing the prep leading up to that. They had a soundproof box they were putting the baby in. They had an oxygen tank, hooked up to a hose, that would feed into the box. So in their planning, they could house the baby in the soundproof box, but only in emergencies (when they needed to run or when the baby would start crying), as the tanks were hard to come by, and apparently didnt last long, especially when used how they used it (correct me if im wrong, but the tube they were using seemed rather big, so it wasnt constrained like oxygen for old folks is in a much smaller tube).

The baby makes it in A Quiet Place! They have a whole sound proof room set up for the baby before the birth.
@sciencemama68012 жыл бұрын
And I think they probably planned for her to give birth in that room, and the rockets were more of a generic emergency contingency, just like the red lights, the timer, etc. For the last couple weeks of her pregnancy they probably should've not let her be alone EVER or even make her stay in the soundproof room, to keep her and everyone safe. Basically, put her on forced bedrest, jeez! But it made for an unforgettably epic movie moment that I don't think can ever be rivaled. Even if it is 100% unbelievable that she gave birth and got the baby to quiet down so quickly. Maybe they set off enough rockets to keep the monsters away for longer than it seemed, but I just can't imagine.

Midnight Mass was a heart wrenching and horrifying and deeply, deeply sad show. It has a lot of really good messages and and amazing performance from the whole cast, but it will gut you. Erin’s character in particular is just so beautifully written, and her story is so hard to watch. Highly recommend the show, purely for the performances and powerful messaging, but prepare to feel pretty much every stage of “oh god, no” if you do. Twilight was written by a Momon in her teen years so the movies did their best to adapt what was literally what this woman thought childbirth would be like.... well what she thought vampire childbirth was like.... the scene is better in the book considering the actual context, but yeah Stephanie is definitely not someone you want birthing advice from. I mean she's now what almost 50 so maybe she's had more experience since writing her multimillion dollar vampire teens sexual fantasy, but I can't guarantee anything. P.S. the 'fake blood' on Newborn Nessie is a jam mixture due to the infant actor's habit of putting their hand in their mouth they didn't want to accidentally poison the baby so they just used a thick red jam mixture. This is such a fun idea for a video. Spooky Season is my favorite time of year. Thank you so much. I think the reason the character says toxoplasmosis is a myth is because the whole thing has been blown out of proportion and demonized cats further. People assume it works on humans the same way it works on mice and that it will control your mind or make you mentally ill. If you have indoor cats who have been tested for parasites, it is very unlikely they will have it or spread it. Still, I think having someone cleaning the litter for you while you are pregnant is not only good risk mitigation, but who really wants to bend or squat and do that while pregnant. I don't think I would. But also, don't be afraid of your cats or be mean toward cats just due to the possibility of these parasites.
