Basically it has much to do with food and resources. Humans grew in numbers to the point when there was not enough food, so we moved or found a way to produce more. Then things prospered again so we got more offspring and more people till the point we could not support everyone anymore. Then again we moved or found new ways of producing and the cycle repeated. Also this didn't happen at the same time for all people as people lived in different environments. Some groups had more then others and they often clashed. Today it's still the same. Some people have a lot and others don't. Most of the time the ones who don't will try to move so they clash with other groups who might have more. Those groups would then try to defend their prosperity. This is why humans migrated in prehistoric times, why empires were born in ancient times, why the huns traveled west and pushed other people to migrate in midieval times, why colonies were created and today why wars are fought. Resourses. To sustain a current population.
@Kriscuit_Bonkin8 жыл бұрын

@@shawnmiller7468 No... the flood was referring to the Continental Drift. All the different religions, mythologies, cultures, etc acknowledge the flood. It is believed that the flood occurred during the Continental Drift. As the continents began to move, underground rivers, springs, lakes, etc opened up causing the Earth to fill with water like never before. The land mass flooded with the water that was previously underground due to Tectonic Plates shifting, creating valleys, mountains, gorges, etc. This is also backed up by the Bible, as Genesis 7:11 says "on the seventeenth day of the second month-on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened." There was lots flooding caused by underwater springs, rivers, lakes, etc getting exposed to the surface filling the land that was previously dry. This all occurred before the Ice Age.

It would have been nicer if the migration effects in the video concluded with the final migration route of humans into the Pacific islands up to as recently as 1200 AD, just 800 years ago, stopping there. Instead the video stopped at 12,000 years ago and left out the last route of human migration.

There is a huge inaccuracy of pointers across India. This video is ignoring the beach migration pathway to Australia via South Indian coast (rather shows a direct pathway across central India where there is little evidence of Dravidian settlements). There seems to be very near ancestry for some South Indians (especially Andaman Tribes) with early African humans. There is also a great inaccuracy in depiction of influx of Indo-European language speaking people to India (the second arrow coming from central Asia) as this doesn't takes into account of possible migration of Indo-Iranian speaking people either from India to middle-east or the other way around wherein Vedic people come across saraswati and Sindhu (Indus) which is mentioned in early works of Sanskrit-Rigveda (early Sanskrit literature is the only surviving literature considered to be nearest to proto-Indo-European language).
@peppapig174532 жыл бұрын
Yeah I noticed that as well. Also ancient egyptians had next to no sub saharan DNA, and were mostly related to people of the Levant, asians and europeans. If they came from sub saharan africa, they did not go through egypt. They have found south american natives (but not north american natives) share DNA closely with australian aboriginals, and that has to be the most blatant telling on how much historians have just guessed when trying to explain our history.
@SixHundredAndSixtySix2 жыл бұрын
@@peppapig17453 Egyptians of ancient egypt are much different than egyptians now. There were several great arab migrations into North Africa in more recent times. It's interesting that humans are so genetically homogeneous (even though we look different). Maybe our intuitiveness and social nature meant that little physical adaptation was needed, as we aclimate faster by adjusting our behaviours over generations and even within individual lives than our bodies over millennia, and shape our environments to suit ourselves rather than the reverse. Only recently has this been a problem. As much as the pessimists and political hipsters like to think humans are horrible, we're by a long shot the most amazing things we know of.

An archbishop of a church named James Usher came up with Adam being 6,000 yrs old and thus the creation of the world at the same date. This was one man's rendering of the Bible it has been repeated by others and in modern times heralded as "Biblical Truth" by young earth creationists. The Bible is not a to be read as a historical document without understanding. It is sophisticated piece of literature written over the span of many thousands of years by our ancestors, it is filled with allegories, poetic symbolism, parables, idioms, etc.... Have some respect you arrogant fool! Maybe the problem isn't in the bible but in the fact you can not understand it. Go back to reading the Animal Farm as a historical document and thinking that the animals were talking. Ha ha

Actually, it does not state 6,000 years directly of course. A thousand years from now it is not going to have the text changed to 7,000 years. Speaking of ignorance, you did not ask nor do you understand how we derive the 6,000 from the bible, but feel free to research yourself. I have studied religions most of my life. Religious historians agree with the calculations and ages of the characters and timelines that have been provided in the bible and have concluded a close approximation to 6,000 years according to the events given in the Christian bible. Speaking of talking animals, there were more than just talking snakes... =P

Wow, it seems that Native Americans partly came from Southeast Asia. Wow, I didn't know that. I always thought they all came from Siberia.

***** Although what you say it is true, bare in mind that all this movement was violent mostly.. It was not a peacefull walk. The arrows are still moving and this happens with a lot of violence! Imagine all the people as John lennon says my friend. Difficult, isn't it...

Maja Boskovic I didn't come up with it, I got that information from the video. Also, I think "they look nothing like natives of Siberia" is an inappropriate statement. I don't know what to say to that.

It's really interesting how Europeans were part of the East-Asian migratory group, and then split off and decided to double back westward. I wonder what caused that split. I also wonder why people were so reluctant to head back west after reaching the Ural Mountains - is Kazakhstan really so dreadful that nobody ever wants to go through it more than once?
