How are synthetic nucleotides produced? What about the microflora, how are they fed when they reproduce? What about the ingredients for the fermentation tank, where does that organic material come from? I guarantee that this synthetic dairy is still plant-based. The organic material needs to come from somewhere. They conveniently left out this fact, to make it sound like the stuff has no environmental impact at all. It's probably in the same ballpark as other milk alternatives, maybe worse, because otherwise they would've included the information.

not zero true, but plants do not make methane, which is 300 times more greenhouse gas than co2, see it like this: 1 ton of cow is less efficent than 1 ton of cells? why? cows have brain, organs and activity, cells are 100% productive, so it is always more efficent, also u dont need antibiotics or hormones that can pollute the milk, also it is much easier to genetically select cells than cows, so not only efficiency is increased but also chemical control over milk is achieved, so unless people like flatearthers think about mindcontrolmeds there is nothing bad

Fake meat is *processed* with over 20 ingredients. The heme that makes fake meat red is not considered safe by the FDA. No studies have been done on eating these 100% processed foods in place of healthy whole foods. Places that eat animal based whole foods with high fat content are healthier than people on low fat, processed food diets. Babies mitochondria are developed in the womb from what mom eats and is exposed to. That is why we have epigenetic diseases caused by chemical exposure, things we should not eat or breathe. Instead of ethical organic farming we are turning to fake GMO processed foods with no testing for the long term effects on future generations. Long term multigenerational studies. What impact do these fake processed foods have on the environment? Are they truly environmentally friendly or are they just making more money for the people who manufacture them? GMO food promised to feed the hungry. Why are we trusting people who have never kept their promises and used their past inventions to make money rather than solve problems? If you look up some of the environmentally friendly things being done, they are finding they use more energy, more resources, are less friendly than if they have used responsible organic farming practices. The companies pursuing fake foods are the ones who bring us toxic chemicals and drugs for our many diseases resulting from their toxins.

For the proteins to be created, there should be some other sources - ammonia sulfate at least, free amino acids at most, depending on the special traits of these exact microbes (hope they can utilize the simpler sources, otherwise it's basically useless). And no, you don’t ever need to take their babies from them. I have a doe with two bucklings and I still am getting a gallon extra from her daily. Why grow something in a lab when you can work with Mother Nature and get delicious healthy food in your yard? Or support a local small scale farmer with healthy happy animals? It can be done, we need our culture (in the USA) to keep shifting away from non sustainable huge cows and more towards smaller ruminants who can thrive in local unaltered ecology!
