If you go to Philadelphia there are many black men on the streets who are homeless, on drugs and their precious lives wasting away. It is such a sad scene to behold. I hope some genuine leaders will acknowledge this problem and take action to rehabilitate these men because they are very useful to society.

There was no Ethiopia before 1945. Abyssinia morphed into Ethiopia. Amharas, Oromos Tigrays, and all other nationalities in today's Ethiopia were also enslaved by Arabs who had white slaves as well. There was negligible Islam and Christianity in West Africa at the time of the Trans Atlantic slave trade. Contact with Europe was not all woes. We had minimal technology but we had basic development structures. We had sustainable agriculture, animal husbandry. Some of our societies had developed much valued products like leather and fabrics. So our forebears were not mentally lazy.

He did not say bless is he that is poor for they will not see the kingdom of heaven, but he did say, "Itis easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God," Matt:19:24.
