Bismuth casual is by far one if my favs of future, i always shipped bismuth and pearl because they were so close but i kinda gave up on it cuz it became secondary to everything wose but seeing busmuth confirm her crush on pearl and how cute they are together just sells it for me and seeing stevonnie was amazing too a nice calm before the storm and unlike in dreams i wasnt all emotional and sad about steven lol

I personally prefer "PearlXWatching paint dry" as OTP. Also, I find it interesting that Steven started off his recollection of Stevonnie's origins by talking about the rave, which was ironically where the fusion's last moments took place. I was initially confused but I realized that it was similar to how humans in real life remember certain events, even if they made a big impact on our lives. While we as an audience remember every single scene and deem each second as important, Steven remembered those first few parts of the episode as another set of regular gem stuff he did as a kid. He would have already gotten sessions like the fusion practice with those gems a bunch of other times in those days, and as time went by his brain lumped those "mundane" moments as another pile of miscellaneous memories that just make out the general statement "I learned a lot of gem stuff with the Crystal Gems as a kid". The rave part stood out because of how flashy and impressional it was to him, and possibly because of his dislike towards Kevin being a bit pushy.

Okay, but, I'm so happy you noted those Pearl and Bismuth moments in the original series (especially the Reunited thing!!!), it's nice to not be the only one who was noticed that XD I also have a long spiel on how I believe Bismuth is the most healthiest to be in a romantic relationship with Pearl. Now that people are actually paying attention to Bispearl, I can finally give it light XD My biggest OTP is MysteryPearl, but when it comes to healthy positive relationships, I believe Bismuth is the best. In the "Bismuth" episode, Bismuth seemed to encourage Pearl's independence, joking about ownership and almost initiating Pearl to say that she belongs to nobody. And Bismuth's whole character is about doing what you _want_ to do (I know Rose's is too, but still), but still being a part of a team. And that is the perfect kind of mindset for Pearl, especially considering she seems to be able to encourage that in Pearl and not cause her to put her entire self worth into her. She's able to actually influence Pearl to be independent. And, if Pearl were to ever snap back into her overly loyal ways, I feel as though Bismuth wouldn't allow it more than Rose. Bismuth would be able to notice if Pearl'd start becoming dependent, and Bismuth's personality is strong in all the ways that encourages and inspires and forces change, and soft in all the ways that just makes her connect with Pearl so well (I feel like they'd both cry over romance movies together).
