Zangiefs frame data isnt bad, its just that his fast normals feel stubby compared to literally everyone else who seems to have lunging jabs and extreme far pokes. And also he doesnt have a reversal on wake up in SA3 (and NOW drive reversal), so he was (and still is) very susceptible to throw loops despite being a grappler. AND he’s slow; slow walk speed, slow drive rush, so it makes he normals feel even MORE stubby because people just walk out of range after jailing you. Push back and the lack of proximity guarding is what hurts Gief the most. Oh yeah, and drive parry/perfect parry. If they are negative but safe, you cant even take your turn back because they can just parry your button….. so unless you have a strong “in-to-grab” setup, you just waiting for them to sit still for too long.

I don't think it's going to be another Akuma. He's not a shoto, we'll get a rush that'll drop off pretty fast just like it did with the other DLC characters. Kind of a bummer really, got a lot of easy wins off those Akuma's who didn't know what they were doing.

Idk if these are the only things taken from USF4 Omega but his Shadow Rise and EX Psycho Crusher (if the mine is attached) are taken from Omega Nice detail, it's cool that Capcom is pulling inspiration from Omega mode

Im gonna go to Barcode here in Orange county for Bisons release! Im a little emberassed that its been there for 7 years and alex valle owns part of it and i had 0 clue. I always thought tou had to travel for locals but lo and behold theres one within walking distance. Have you ever been James???

I’ve been. Alex doesn’t own any of it, but he organizes events there and works super closely with the owner Rich. It’s a really cool, small intimate venue. I didn’t even know you were SoCal this whole time.

@@UltraChenTV yeah I'm originally from Seattle but I've been here almost 20 years lol. The last thing I participated was the TNS hosted festival of fights, that was my first actual tourney. Been a fgc head since sf4 days and grew up on cvs 2, so I've been around but now I'm trying to get more into the local scene. Just glad I found a spot with tekken and sf6 ready to go, definitely checking out one of the thirsty Thursday weeklys. And I only thought alex valle was part owner because of the recent podcast with maxdood, Mattmcmuscles, and Justin wong. Justin did me dirty there xD but it's so awsome that he's still deeply rooted in the SoCal scene. Talk about a lifer!

LOL! Kimberly was cited to be the new Chun-Li in the Luke, Jamie, Kimberly trio. So she’s *supposed* to be important but so far Jamie and Kim being not very good has hampered that a lot.

@@UltraChenTV this game will turn out like Dragonball Z, where the new heros of the series like Gohan were supposed to replace Goku and the gang, but popularity of the legacy heroes just wouldnt allow it. Now Bison is here tomorrow and Terry and Mai coming soon. Luke appears to be in the fridge cooling down while Akuma is heating up in the kitchen. Seems like they had their little time to shine, but now fun and games are over. Its time for real Street Fighter to make its return. Im calling it now, Sagat and or Sakura/Makoto return in Season 3.
