@@snuffeldjuret Well mate, in Australia, we have @ 26 Million people. 1841 people of all ages have died from Covid and 182,870 have been infected. We all wore masks and stayed inside. Now Florida, similar population, yet 3,704,746 infected and 60,197 dead, because they refused to wear masks or stay inside. If people did the right thing at the beginning of this pandemic, many more people would be alive. Stupidity is what has cause Covid to keep going and killing people. So how about caring for ALL Humans and understand that if we all did the right thing, Covid would be gone by now.

I got surrounded by a herd of bison in the Wachita National Wildlife Refuge in southwest Oklahoma once. Like the one in this video, an all-ages group, but the calves were much younger and still that pretty golden-rust color. The herd surrounded my car and then just stopped right there on the road. I put my car into Park for the next 15 or so minutes and enjoyed the live close-ups until they decided to move on. Best part was that I had five of my 8th grade students with me in the car, and we were to be camping in the park for the next several days. Every morning, we all had to wait til the Buffalo moved on out of our campsite before heading for the bathrooms. My chaperones and I didn't worry about kids sneaking in to different tents, because the Buffalo came in and bedded down to sleep each night, surrounding us. The Buffalo made interesting snorting sounds and grunts in their sleep, and some even were snoring!

Got caught in the midst of a bison herd in Yukon, Canada a few years back. Magnificent just watching! But I did wonder how the motorcyclists a few hundred meters back were making out, not to mention the bicyclists behind them! Fortunately, our small, hyperactive dog in the car with us remained asleep for the whole spectacle - probably a good thing!

I grew up in suburban California, and it was common to see animals that clearly weighed more than I did. These animals knew who was boss: them. The bucks had antlers that could easily break every bone in my body. There were also bobcats and a few local mountain lions. They LOOK like house cats; they MOVE like house cats; but they are NOT house cats. If you ever meet a wild cat in the hills - just back away slowly. That’s what I did, and now I am an old man (whew!).

Spectacular video! I was last in Yellowstone in 1957, when I was 2 years old! And I'm so glad you said "bison" and not "buffalo." It's my mission in life to make people understand that these magnificent creatures are not buffalo, they are bison. To know what a buffalo is, think water buffalo, common in Asia and Africa. These American beauties are bison!
