Yuki Nakai was actually blinded in one eye after that fight, but he didn't tell anyone for many years because he wanted to protect the reputation of MMA in the early years of the sport. He went on to coach fighters, including Shinya Aoki.

A little trivia Crocop was in danger of losing a ball after Congo kept kneeling him. The fourth knee had actually smashed the ball back up into his body and it had to be "adjusted" back down into the sack. Might be the worst ball busting in MMA history.

I had a chance to go into MMA after my martial arts run and I seriously considered it originally. But after six months of training, steroid-juicers, liars, sparring, and fighting with imbeciles, low-lives, crooks, and cheats, I wanted no part of it. Not everyone in MMA is a bad guy, but there are a lot of immature, emotionally stunted, vicious, spiteful, and supremely dishonorable men in that industry.

Even in the 2nd fight, Chael should've won it because he improved his submission defence but panicked in the 2nd round and did a silly move. He won 5/7 rounds against the arguable GOAT with 3 10-8s. He deserved to beat Silva, but Silva didn't mess about against him because he knew he was a genuine threat (unlike Weidman, which was the opposite).

He seems to be completely honest, a straight shooter, very fair concerning his regard for the various fighters, etc. The old days of UFC, where pure ego and aggression seemed to be the key to every door within the industry (at least from the perspective of fans), seems to be gone for good and we’re all better for it. It’s so refreshing to see where people like Bisping, Adesanya, and Wonderboy (among many others) are taking it via various social media platforms and KZbin!

The only one I disagree with, and it's minor. When Nate fought rousimir, he didn't really sucker punch, he finally escaped the leg entanglement, and rousimar turned to the ref complaining of greasing, that's when Nate jumped into his guard and finished him. I'd say it's no different than Anderson v you, bisping. Took advantage of a lapse in concentration. He was defo dirty but that was clean.
