Thank you for this tutorial. You did an excellent job explaining Goodnotes. I appreciate your going slow and making sure we can see what you were doing. This helped so very much!

A more clear, and cogent presentation than 2 or 3 others I listened to. I would like to hear like how you can title a page in the quick note portion of Goodnotes.

This is the best beginner Goodnotes tutorial I’ve watch. I could follow and not get lost, AND understand. This is the first one I’ve watched where I feel like I now know how to begin using Goodnotes. I’ve watched many over several days. Thank you!

This is very, very helpful! Just bought an ipad and goodnotes5 to use on Zoom as I teach. I have been looking at so many tutorials but this is the best one I found. He gives a thorough and slow explanation and demonstration of all the tools. One video I watched showed me how I can take a screenshot but not how to retrieve it to use in a document. This does it all. I'm bookmarking this video because I know I will need to refer to it over and over until I get this down. Thank you so much! Now I can create my lesson for tomorrow!

Just purchased a digital planner & immediately downloaded GoodNotes5. Found your tutorial great (rookie here) but am having trouble scrolling (vertically or horizontally) - Have emailed the developer but still haven’t received a response. Any ideas/suggestions (from anyone) would be greatly appreciated:)

Thank you, this was a great tutorial! I did notice that if I don't have a keyboard attached to the ipad, I can't do the split screen trick by opening up a second GoodNotes when searching for it with the finder tool. If I try to grab the application and drag it and activates all of the apps and they're all doing their little dance like I'm going to move them, including the GoodNotes one. So it doesn't give me a second one, it thinks I'm moving the first one.

Hi was a great video :) :) I am a musician and goodnote application in my hand, I want to install my chord archive (PDF) and use it like a repertoire book .. I bought a folder and threw the 200 pdf file into the pdf file. I can't make transitions:/:/ So all have a separate pdf, I guess there is a page pass in a single pdf ... Is there a setting of this? I hope you understand :) So when there is more than one PDF file in the folder, we can't switch like a notebook to page ... There is just a page event in a pdf ... If I install 250 songs into a single pdf at that time, how do I find the song I want in between:/:/

I am taking anatomy and I would like to take notes per chapter , can I make a notebook for that class but have the notes separated into chapters ? If so how can I do it?
@tusharkanchipurambphc4 жыл бұрын
Hey! I think for this you can make use of the "Outlines" feature. You can mark the first page of each chapter within the main anatomy notebook as an outline page so that you can go to the outlines tab and just click on whatever chapter you want to go to, instead of scrolling through the whole notebook page by page. I hope this made sense. Instead, what I prefer is making each class as a folder and within that class folder, each chapter gets its own notebook - I find this one to be more organised.

Your video is great, and I learned a lot, but for me, the background music was a bit irritating, as I couldn't tune it out. I would much rather hear just your voice! 🙂

Thank you for letting me know. I will stop using background music for tutorials in the future. I think part of me is just a bit self-conscious about the sound of my own voice!

This video is useful, but it does what most tutorials on the web do, which makes it and them of limited utility. The presenter goes through EVERY possible arcane configuration and third-order important option in the first 10 minutes of the tutorial. I disagree with that approach. Show me how to get some real work done in a short loop! Create a document, do something useful in it, show me how to save it, show me how to later find it. After each step, close the app and start from scratch. That’s how newbie’s work.
