If you buy from scammers, then learn how to identify scammers by making the mistake a few times first. Even banks can't help you in a lot of those cases. If by agreement with the other party you should get money back, they can just send it back easily.

While blockchain technology holds immense potential, its widespread adoption for everyday transactions hasn't materialized at all. Bitcoin has a concentration of wealth in excess of North Korea. Less than 3% of the global population owns Bitcoin; of that 3%, the top 1% owns over 90%. Suggesting that BTC is the wealth equalizer for the little guy is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard. dig deeper. You could apply this thought on everything. Your thought does not make sense if you think it further and if you understand the problem we have with infinte fiat money. If you have a lot of bitcoin, you have to spend it or speculate, if you want to use your wealth. And you will have to buy it back for the fair price it costs. There is no creation of free money in the favor of a few. No more debt rising that is beeing paid by everyone through inflation. No Cantillon Effect. Thats the point. With Bitcoin, it gets more and more equal, with fiat its gets more and more centralized. How do you expect to distribute something in a decentralized way? How do you prevent rich people from buying more than people with less money? You cant. Bitcoin isnt an instant equalizer, something like that wouldnt even be possible in any fair way. The key is sound money. Sound and uncontrolled Money is the only way to have a fair money.

I think Bitcoin would be more valuable if it was bought with only gold, silver palladium, and precious metals. Basically bitcoin seems to be inflated only by the fiat currency. So how valuable is it actually. Yes. If you want euros, you still need another currency to trade for them. If you want bitcoin, you still need something of value that someone else wants for them. The nice thing is that once you have on-ramped to crypto, you can trade any crypto for another through defi, without the banking system.

Nobody really knows anything. The computer geeks are geeking out about the encryption technology around it but they don't even know possible flaws and how it can be controlled ultimately, and who created it. Most likely it was the NSA that created it and the plan is to use as a base for a ONE world digital currency system where all transactions can be traced. But that's in the future. It started out as a libertarian idea about how to not involve the government in your money and now it's being embraced by government. If you know the history of money it's always marketed as something for the people but doesn't end up that way. Bitcoin is no different but it can make people money so ultimately that's going to be the driver for its adoption and use.

The problem of bitcoin is not because bitcoin is virtual and dollars are real. Dollars are virtual, too. The problem of bitcoin is it is replicable. You can create endless different coins, some are more advanced than bitcoin because encrypted currency technology advances. Dollars are backup by US government and country power. You may come up with a better paper making technique but you cannot create another dollar system
