Having a dedicated node connected to your personal computer requires you to have your computer with you anytime you need to send or exchange funds. Seems to convoluted to me. As you shared you only have incoming transactions, like most people, they also store BTC and don’t use it as a payment system.

It would be really interesting to look into ways you can incorporate bitcoin mining and farming. Whether it's using natural waste and bio-gas to power bitcoin miners, or using the excess heat that bitcoin miners provide to help keep livestock warm in colder conditions whilst earning sats.
