@@4EverAwesomness92 when everyone says it will always go up is mostly when it crashes down. When everyone says it can't go up and will go down and down is when it eventually goes up again. We're still in a bull market, this current situation is a bear market but it's temporary. Probably lasts for a couple months before Btc takes off in the end of the year again. Remeber, in bull market 2013 we had a situation like this one and the price crashed 75% and consolidated for half a year. We're already down 50 - 55% from Ath. We won't go that much lower. The lowest point i see in the next couple months will be 25.000$. I really don't see Btc drop below that. Under 30k is where i'm going to buy massively. It's also where whales recently bought.

@@4EverAwesomness92 What you fail to realize is that BTC doesn't follow alts. Alts follow BTC. BTC is higher market cap and won't have as extreme moves as alts do. BTC won't lose as much % wise as alts in a bear market. Its just statistical fact.

my theory is that probably we ill consolidate slightly to the downside for all over the summer with peaks and bumps, and probably around Dec 21- Feb 22 might hit 100 k , forget 300 k for a while that might be in a few years not now. i wouldnt be surprised if we retest 20k .

Many people take information from content creators at face value and do not listen to or add context to the statement... Someone calls for a V shape recovery and also provides context to that statement and address other possibilities but then the viewer only hears what they want to hear and expects them to be right... Those are the ones who are doing it wrong... you must learn from others but ultimately conquer the market with your own understanding and skill. Its good to be surrounded by great minds, but you need to be able to make on the spot decisions that your favorite youtube creator isn't going to hold your hand thru. I have to say Ben, when I started investing last September, you really helped me get in the right mindset. I invested with the intention of holding on a multi-year time frame and the expectation that my gains will come slowly for a good while. If I didn't have the perspective that hey, my portfolio is down 40% but I'm still way ahead of where I thought I would be, I may be one of the panic sellers right now. The only thing I regret is not buying more back then, but who could've known it would literally be the last time I can buy at 10k (probably). That's probably one of the less painful lessons of crypto to learn. Right now though my gains mean that half my net worth is in crypto and it seems a bit reckless to keep adding to that by buying the dip, which I guess is a good problem to have :D

I'd say the best way to put it is that we're in a micro bear market but a macro bull market. So far, recent weekly closes have held up at the Jan 24 close and 50w EMA. I’ll keep an open mind but my guess is that crypto currency was exploding this year and brought in a lot of new people (including me). Then the fud came and people were nervous about investing so they sold. The only reason I haven’t sold any BTC, ETH, or ADA is because I believe in this project. I’m tired of all my hard-earned money getting devalued by the day as it sits in the bank getting less than a 0.25% APR. I feel like I’m doing everything honestly and I’m still losing.

None of this price action matters.. I know this isnt very popular among ITC, but even as a premium list subscriber, I believe weekend price action does not matter. It is just too low volume and liquidity. Gotta watch the CME for the most meaningful closes, crosses, etc

Technically we are NOT in a bear market. One of the standard metrics is the 50 and 200 daily MA's crossover. We did NOT crossover these MA's. For now, technically this can be called a CORRECTION within a bull market. We can go lower sure but AS OF NOW it is too soon to call it a "bear market".
