Real "Money" is suppose to be a placeholder for your labor and savings. It should retain your purchasing power over long periods of time. If it doesn't do that then it's not money. At best it is fiat currency. Gold, Silver, and Bitcoin are hard money because they can retain purchasing power over time. Paper currency cannot and as we have all seen, the longer we hold paper currency the LESS it will buy. This is the beauty of Bitcoin in particular. It has a fixed supply and therefore can only go UP in purchasing power because all of the unlimited paper currency around the world can only go DOWN in purchasing power.

More expensive power. Most power stations make more power than needed so the grid never falters and we as utility customers will pay for that wasted power regardless. Bitcoin miners use up this power and pay for it which lowers our bills.
