I appreciate your work...I'm Satoshi and so is Elon Musk...I'm 38, American, my name is David...It was my idea, I own the coins, they are under the control of my trustee/conservator...We hired Elon, to control the development. I have no technical knowledge of computers...I am extremely wealthy and successful outside of Bitcoin...That's the truth...When you realize that the person corresponding in the emails is Elon, under my made up alias Satoshi Nakamoto, it becomes obvious...I have mental illness, which causes me to be unstable and unpredictable, I don't even have access to my own wealth...That's why the secrecy...I wanted to make Bitcoin for one reason, to take down the oppressive and predatory federal reserve and central banking system...I don't care about the notoriety or recognition...This is not for me, it's for everyone...I will be revealed, bit not until I'm the wealthiest man in the world. Depending on Bitcoins price, it could be very soon...I am also the secret founder and creator of the Monster Energy brand, among many other things, all done in secrecy...

My hypothesis is that Adam's emails "to Satoshi" are fabricated years after they were supposedly sent. Adam's clearly a smart enough guy to pull something like that off and he's clearly wealthy enough to escape any consequences legally for the fabrication.

The only Satoshi Nakamoto I can endorse is that retired engineer who was harassed by the media for no reason, got compensated by cryptobros and immediately cashed out the bag instead of getting further involved in that nonsense. Absolute king, I hope he’s doing well.

I had also forgot Gavin naming CSW and missed his bcash support. I was so glad to be past this error, bit disappointing to come back full circle. Amazing job on this! That clip of Adam explaining why it’s best for “Satoshi” to remain anonymous put all the pieces together for me. Nobody asks, “who invented the dollar?”-not having a name/face makes it feel like an objective commodity rather than an invention that’s purchased. The anonymity is not a selfless denial of profit but a means to make Bitcoin more profitable. As to why not access his account with billions on it, why risk being unmasked when he probably has plenty of money in other accounts, while having the safety net of knowing that fortune is there should he ever need it. FANTASTIC work!

@mobilegameclips5628

The whole “anonymous” for the greater good aspect always feels like a bit of a stretch when you consider that the smaller fraction of a Bitcoin is named after Satoshi. Therefore the currency ultimately is designed to actually grow to a point where the coins used in common trading are actually directly invoking his name ….
@motopolak
@motopolak 2 жыл бұрын
@@mobilegameclips5628 Remember that these fractions were only named "Satoshis" after Satoshi himself disappeared in 2011. They were named by the surviving community (extremely small at the time compared to today) as a tribute to the creator, not by the creator himself. So your conclusion that BTC is "designed to grow to a point to where it invokes his name" is a bit of a stretch, in my opinion.

Some pointed out that Hal Finney lived two blocks away from Dorian (birth name Satoshi) Nakamoto. This suggests Finney played some role in the creation of this "persona", but it may have been a collective effort, with Back doing most of the PR... That would explain why stuff like the writing style all implicate Back while the name "Satoshi Nakamoto" links to Finney.

Seriously tho it's also highly possible that Hal and Adam disagreed on lots of things but worked together to create Satoshi and compromised at the time on direction. With Hal dying this gave Adam guilt and accountability free reign to force bitcoin to his ideal path. While still maintaining the anonymous founder concept for bitcoin adoption.

Honestly it's possible that Adam Back simply "usurped" his position, felt entitled to control and subvert Bitcoin simply because he came up with hashcash.. And was jealous that someone else beat him to it and initially copied Satoshi's writing style like the double spacing. His personality, on twitter and live, seems quite different and too petty to be Satoshi IMO. regardless, he succeeded in ruining Bitcoin and derailing it from what it was meant to be. And unfortunately after the failure of XT and the complete control by Blockstream it's pretty much set in stone.
@pinklemonade8320
@pinklemonade8320 Жыл бұрын
I scrolled all the way here to see if anyone else agreed that Back actually has a noticeably different writing style than Satoshi. Yeah, they both use British English and double spaces (though this video even admits Back's double-spacing is less consistent than Satoshi's). They probably come from a similar circle of cypherpunk British academics. But I don't think they're the same person. Satoshi's writing style is very neurotic, carefully-worded, and sort of meek. Back writes more dryly, more assertively, more abruptly, and less cautiously. Satoshi's posts featured in this series always seem to have immaculate spelling and formatting. Back writes more informally, leaving out apostrophes and neglecting capitalization and whatnot. I have trouble imagining the same person being behind these two sets of posts. I think Back very likely knows who Satoshi is personally (explaining the lack of correspondence, the shifty behaviour when asked who he is, the concern for Satoshi's anonymity, the interest in editing the Wikipedia page etc ) because they come from the same circle. But I don't think it's him.

I'm not surprised to hear that bitcoin grifting and drama goes all the way back to its founders, but seeing the scope of it really gives you an appreciation for how deep the conflict of interest goes. In retrospect, it makes a lot of sense why someone would keep their internet alter-ego in their back pocket. Being able to roleplay as the mysterious, unpredictable founder of an underground currency gives you an influence that conventional figureheads don't have. Every time Back talks about Satoshi and bitcoin, he sounds like a guy who's just barely holding back the glee of thinking he's got everyone fooled and is hiding in plain sight.

The secular West’s double standards are glaringly evident from how they deal with “irrationality”. When this so-called irrationality is linked with religion it’s a problem. However, when it comes to things like “gender fluidity” it’s completely fine. Another example that can be mentioned is how the “clairvoyant” Edgar Cayce was extremely popular during the early 20th century. And it’s the same story when it comes to aliens 👽. The secular West, unable to fight its innate tendency to believe in the ghayb, proposes the likely existence of a non-human species that could communicate with our world - the same way Muslims believe in the jinn Of course, all of this is done in the name of their own religion: science. They even have their own priests in the form of astrobiologists, etc. This belief of theirs is of the same nature as ours. Even if they try and add some pseudo-empiricist spice: there may be tangible elements pointing towards the existence of aliens 👽 They fail to grasp how we, too, say there are “tangible elements” regarding the influences of the jinn within our world.*

Rudol Von Stroheim yeah that’s simply false, they’re worded in very centrist terms, Wikipedia generally leans center-right, but it’s not some conspiracy, it’s just that the English Wikipedia page is mainly moderated and edited by tech-savvy Americans, and this group leans center to center-right in the US. You sound like some “conservapedia” idiot if you think Wikipedia is secretly some sort of liberal propaganda. @@joma5721 Other than labeling everything "far right" on there that is center left to far right. Just read any of the "authoritative sources" that are pulled from there on KZbin. Almost all of them claim "far right conspiracy theory" in the blurb. They get their sources from Google search probably 99% of the editors, which means words are redefined enough that they carry over to there with exaggerated context. Google curates a narrative in the search results so odds are the wiki pages will carry that same tone. It has nothing to do with who most of the editors are. People with an agenda are just very proactive when it comes to editing so certain topics will have that nonsense in it.

This video is a red herring, Barely Sociable is Satoshi. Just randomly out of nowhere this "Barely Sociable" channel springs into existence and grows to have nearly 400k subs in eight months? Does that truly seem barely sociable to you? And his info is just a tad too well-researched for a random youtuber who only started posting less than a year ago. But the most compelling evidence perhaps is that if you turn the volume all the way up at 7:16 you can hear his mom shouting, "Satoshi Nakamoto, if you don't come down here and take out the trash right now then you're walking to school tomorrow!" I rest my case. (Continued below) That said, I think it goes without saying that the research done in these videos is phenomenal. One little note though if that's all right. While these videos are very intriguing and definitely keep you watching, I have found that a lot of the content is confusing to understand. I feel that this is a subject where one either needs to have a background or to have spent quite a bit of time researching it, but to a lot of us even if certain events, terms, or documents had been explained before, often merely mentioning them again doesn't make it clear what they are because of the technical nature of the subject. I still really enjoyed watching all parts of this topic and feel that the channel on the whole is excellent. Maybe I just hold him up to crazy high expectations, haha! Please keep it up.

it would be highly unlikely because the thing about the trash implies that he is a school student who lives with his mother which would be impossible because he started bitcoin in 2007 which would mean he would have to be at least 14, although probably older because he would have to obtain the knowledge of how to do that. Of course this could be something to give light to his identity finally for skilled cryptographers, and there could also be something hidden in the audio of the video (you can turn it into an image somehow, Idk how), but it would also be the kind of thing a bored youtuber doing lots of research for a video for his growing channel would do for laughs.

I am being entirely honest when I say that this has been one of the most fascinating, revealing video series I have ever seen in my entire life.

Was expecting an unconclusive half-assed wild theory about why some random farmer in Kent was Satoshi. Instead, we get tons of concrete evidence and the timeline that make a really solid case. Even the Graphology test, the way he rights, with the double-space checks out. It feels so good to have a conclusion and a potential end to the search of who is Satoshi. Very well done video, incredible research. Top tier content, it doesn't really get better than this boys.

@@Rectiifyy Lemmino is indeed a very good channel, but he's way less Assertive / Conclusive when talking about stuff like this. He also has close to 4 million subs, so he's quite popular. this channel has only half a million of subs. So yeah thanks anyway for the advice, but I watch too much KZbin already.

Your comments would be more valuable if you pointed out a technical flaw instead of a pronouncation one. Same here. I know basically nothing about crypto, and I was pretty "riveted" by this video series. Not to mention Barely has a fucking _amazing_ voice, especially for this subject matter. The Silk Road video was priceless. However, I try to never jump to conclusions when I've only heard one side. So I've been looking around a little bit, and ended up finding this: bitcoin-takeover.com/why-barely-sociables-adam-back-is-satoshi-nakamoto-video-is-bcash-propaganda/ Again... I'm hesitant to make any conclusions, but some pretty interesting points in there. This whole saga seems far from over...

@jamesrav

to play devils advocate, he has had years to ponder the question (the 'better to know / not know'). But he clearly never rehearsed the "who is ..." question. The eyes down and smile are pretty hard to ignore. All he had to practice replying was "I know who it isnt, it isnt me" with a straight face. As for the 'why keep denying', the aura evaporates once there's a single originator. Who invented money? I think he wants to maintain that level of importance to it. Once he's the known face of BTC, it's just another 'thing' , and every little up and down will lead to questions directly *to him*. Tough to be the father of what could be a $10 trillion alternative currency.

Yeah I do understand where youre coming from, but to think it is a clue seems a bit too much, as it is widespread knowledge that knowing who created Bitcoin and if that person is still alive would ruin the project entirely.

The pain of watching powers behind Bitcoin go from something that was meant to be "freedom from the banks!" to basically trying to become its own bank corp nation complete with its own corporate script is... indescribable. Sometimes knowledge is painful, but if I were more inclined enough to not want to know, I imagine I would only know a fraction of what I do and be poorer for it. I am a huge crypto skeptic but have kept an eye on it since I first heard of it in 2011. Skeptical because I have always thought things would implode due to greed and the general human interaction problems that come about with things like this. This seems to confirm those beliefs and your evidence is extremely strong. Would be curious to see the argument against for sake of completeness but it looks solid.
