In Spanish, house is "casa", it is not "kh" but the k sound. Regionally we say the expression "anca... Patrick, for example" to mean "in Patrick's house". That kh sound is exactly like Spanish j.

How do you say mansion? Ive seen teach mor (big house) but that seams to point to a country estate instead of a town mansion, and possibly even upper class derogatory. And I have also seen mana, but no explanation given.

I know someone who insists on calling his place 'an tig bán'. I'm sure he is wrong and it should be 'an teach bán' but I'm no expert. What do you think?
