I really enjoyed your Sri Lankan series. To be honest, when you mentioned you guys are leaving, I felt just like my favorite relatives who visited us are leaving. So emotional! Have a safe flight back and please visit us again when you get old. It will be a nice effort of bringing nostalgic memories to the surface of life. I have yet visited Amsterdam and Den Hague in Netherlands and looking forward to see rest of your beautiful country too. Also, my best friend's partner is from Mauritius and she showed me some amazing pictures of a lot of sea turtles there. So, need the 'checked' Mauritius ASAP. @@dravisandanna i watched your all of videos,they were amazing,I need to say you missed lots of must visit places here, I don"t know you will visit here again.hope so If you visit again go Sinharaja rain forest (world heritage),Moon planes.Mandara,m nuwara. Madolsima, Riverston, Piduruthalagala (highest mountain of Sri Lanka and you can go there by vehicle), Madunagala hot springs,and there are so many must visit beautiful laces are in our little paradise

Hi Dravis Just wondering whether you are of Sri Lankan (Ceylonese) heritage / ancestry? My parents were and they were Dutch Burghers who left Ceylon just after the independence. Just curious! I have visited many places with my parents and also alone visiting my long lost relatives. My parents used to say "we had to leave the paradise". @@dravisandanna Thanks for the very interesting reply. I am of Sinhala and Dutch mixed blooded heritage. Hence I have seen few of my relatives who look like you. I visited SL few times looking for my relatives, tracing my ancestry. It always fascinates me being mix blooded (even though there is no such thing like as such as we all are human who could be traced back to an origin). but we are a diverse people among the populace. Yes I loved all your content especially the SL series because I have a long lost connection. Loved both your demeanor, down to earth, cheerful and humble nature, especially when Anna said when she was doing her eye lashes for the wedding, "...hope I will not jab my eyes. Now you can see how often I do my make up..." It was hilarious, but says a good point and nature of her,be true to be yourself, love life and others, it is not the way she looks like but the way she/you do things. She has a beautiful soul, rarity these days and you are lucky to have her and you both deserve to be each other. Some time ago I had one similar to her, well educated but very humble and simple, who also taught me life me being a man, but sadly she had to return back to Ireland, it is a very long story. You both are beautiful in and outside. I sincerely wish you both happy life together. I subbed. Enjoy your life, love and care wherever you live. My sincere blessings to You and beautiful Anna.

@@dravisandanna I had something similar way back in the late 90's as a kid it was kind of falooda with a syrup, milk, ice cream, bits and pieces of gelly crystals, some raisins, some nuts and some sweet chunks like Turkish delights but honestly I couldn't remember the name or pronounce it. I had this by accident but everytime I went to Sri Lanka on my subsequent years I couldn't get this delicious drink due to the mere fact I couldn't ask or explain it to the locals, always ended up having a regular falooda. If anybody know the name of this please let me know 🙏
