Anyone who keeps pursuing someone who doesn’t view them as a priority is either desperate or doesn’t have self respect. I’m glad I grew out of this. PS I’m glad I’m the first to comment.

@@soundidesign9653 Have you ever had a friend who constantly wanted to hang out but no matter how often you told them you couldn't or gave them hints that you didn't want to they still pursued? If you did you probably remember them being quite pathetic and lacked a great deal of self awareness. This is pretty much how the person who you're not a priority to views you. Obviously there are levels to how they view you but the longer you pursue them the worse it gets. Try not pursuing for a week and work on something for a couple of days and watch your power comeback. I like to view it as not being a pathetic shit instead of doing it for the soul purpose of getting their attention. Who knows you may not even want their attention afterwards.
@guitarman03652 жыл бұрын
Well also brainwashing. How many 'game' videos do you see telling people to be their own priority and never show someone they are that important. People will genuinely ignore you just to say they don't care when deep down they might really want to be texting you right now men are taught to do this to women and women are taught to not reach out until he chases. It leads to a world of people showing they don't give a shit. Sometimes it's genuine but sometimes it's a game and the people chasing are trying to find out which is which before giving up. Everytime I have been in a dating context I always get ignored for hours or even two days. Anything outside of that even a coworker not talking about work I can get responses fairly quickly. But if you mention this you are called needy.

It seemed like his "gf" got everything she wanted out of him in the beginning. She got the sex, the romance, and the free rides. He failed to realize her interest level because he was too busy trying to please her and pursuit her, taking her out on lavish dates, leaving little mystery. In other words, he became an open book immediately. All the things that turned the girl on such as mystery and uncertainty were diminished with all his actions. She essentially had him by the balls, if you will. Great video Coach, maintaining relationships and seduction are two separate sciences altogether. The man was a renowned Scientist, yet when it comes to maintaining relationships, he's but a student.

If a woman is interested in you she will call you all the freaking time almost to the point where it’s annoying. You never have to call her, honestly. Mine was looking at grad school and found one about eight hours away, she almost knew that that wasn’t a good idea and started apply to every single college close to us and got in. It’s funny because when Cory was talking about her moving away to college, my first thought was well that’s not what happens in the movies, but Cory teaches us not to look at that as reality.

Wow! Similar to my experience and I have read it that much, being Dyslexic I think maybe 20 times will be better. My BF said "I Love You" in text but never really told me without me instigating it, I created the idea and sold myself on it. Thanks for this I now will dissect the relationship and look at where the mistakes were made on my part, I know earlier there were flags and it cost me a great deal not acting to end it earlier.

I think she was genuinely attracted to the idea and mystique of him at the beginning. Once she got to know him better, that all faded. She is at a stage in her life when she wants to experiment and experience. Find out what she likes before settling. Perfectly normal and nothing to take personally.
@MrsRitchieBlackmore2 жыл бұрын
@@thomasburres Yeah, but it was super shallow in the relationship described here. She seemed to have only the faintest glimmer of attraction for him which faded immediately once they hooked up and he got real clingy. I feel like this is more common with younger people. They're not looking for anything too deep or involved like the letter writer was. More mature people (like after 27 or so) tend to have fewer options so they usually try harder to make relationships work even after the sex buzz has worn off.
@EyeOfTheCat20022 жыл бұрын
No, she was just messing with him. She wasn't honest about what she wanted they were in a 2-year relationship but she acted single. To say don't take it personally is ridiculously she didn't even say I love you after 2 years together. Would you not take it personally if you were in his shoes? He was just a fuckbuddy and she decided to lead him on instead of just being honest with him.
@MrsRitchieBlackmore2 жыл бұрын
@@EyeOfTheCat2002 I agree that she was just messing with him...not saying that's a good thing or he deserved it, but it's also pretty common behavior for young people. He shouldn't take it personally bc it's more about HER not being ready for a relationship than HIM being a bad guy.

Idk Corey veterinary school is a big deal. You go where you get accepted. She’d been planning that for years - definitely since before she met our guy with the email. You don’t just randomly decide to become a veterinarian one day and then go. Should we want to be with people who give up on their dreams for us?
@stevensaleh69552 жыл бұрын
One thing about veterinary schools is there aren't many. In Florida I believe UF offers the only one and many other states only have one college with such a program. Plus anyone earning a medical degree typically mortgages their life while in school.

If she's staring at you and it feels weird just roll your eyes and smirk. That will mess up whatever strategy she had going. She doesn't know if you're humiliating her or just messing with her. The smirk let's her know it's not humiliation but the eye roll let's her know to get real with the stare down. Lesson learned if you're dating a girl in college and she behaves this way it's normal behavior. She just doesn't find you desirable enough to want you to lock her down. Just move on and don't dwell on it.

Just for a different take on this, as a woman who is also an introvert, I think she might have been *highly interested* in him that whole first year. But you can't spend your entire life going to the beach or riding around on someone's motorcycle, And when she finally said she was thinking of going away to school, his response was, "Good for you! Great." What was she supposed to think? And no, I wouldn't have introduced him to my family, anyway, with the relationship status so up in the air that first year, however much fun it was.
