Siri is pretty close, since all computation is on device. If Siri was truly cloud-server based like Google's Assistant, it could very well be a more serious contender. All in all, Google's Assistant is objectively better at day-to-day use, but in exchange for less privacy and more information collection on you by Google, albeit they use it do improve their products. Siri is better if you're pseudo-privacy aware. Bixby is shit.

I use both Bixby and Google Assistant because Bixby can read all of my notifications aloud or through any Bluetooth connection by using Bixby routines, it is super advanced and reliable. Tried it myself and Biixby did convert currency and showed me the best restaurant (didn't work for my city, I tried Paris). I asked both Bixby and Google Assistant to set my screen timeout to 2 minutes and only Bixby was able to do it. Bixby is good at certain things.

For all of them, Bixby is the new one but has a lot improvement. For internal feature task, Bixby can beat all of them. Example: 1). you can ask Bixby for open setting and activated navigation gesture when both of Siri and Assistance can't do. 2). You can ask for your battery usage, memory status and etc. 3). You can ask for open file manager and ask for the last file and something else. Basically Bixby can do for all Samsung stock apps.

I dont know how much time and effort you have spent on bixby, but the fact that I can edit pictures, change names of files, delet them without touching my phone helps quite a lot. Also not to forget the settings.... Its like heaven to be able to configure specific settings without searching for them for an hour. Just say it to bixby and she will do it right away.

The phone's setting will change automatically depends on the time and my location or my wifi connection. Some people would not be bothered by such settings and only have 1 setting for the rest of their years with that phone. But not me. At night, when I'm about to go to sleep, Bixby would silent my phone automatically, I don't need to do it manually every single time. 🙃

even though bixby is not that good, it can change device settings in a very detailed command that google assistant can't do, but overall G. Assistant wins for sure.

I love Google assistant and I even got a Pixel 5 but it's very sad that almost 50% of the features you showed in this video are not available in non English speaking countries... We can't even send an audio message with Google assistant in France!
