Well this is a fine day. I've only just discovered this remix. Bizarre Love Triangle is greatest pop song of all-time and Richard X is one of my favourite music wizards. This is goosebumps brilliant.

I stumbled onto this remix today and involuntarily had an eargasm as this IMHO is the best I've heard next to the original. My brain is flooded with memories of the 80s and the nuances of the modern sonic additions woke me up to good feels.

Anyone ever wondered what it must have been like to make this song? To know you are producing something out of the ordinary. Something millions of people are going to regard as the best song in history. Did they know just how good it was from the early stages or did it just come together near the end? Maybe the band members even think they have made better records. It's possible because there are other sublime New Order songs. It does help though when there are guys like Richard X who can finish off your songs with remixes like this to keep them fresh and rocking.

I love this song, it is flat-out brilliant, but I reckon that moment you describe applies to Blue Monday more than Bizarre Love Triangle. It was so good, so brilliant, that bands like Kraftwerk tried and failed to crack the code to reproduce it. I love that they used to play it after gigs and it just completely captured everyone's imagination.
