Opera singer....Matthew has one of the finest voices in opera today. A very well developed, well produced sound, HOWEVER, he is definitely not a lyric spinto Tenor which I think is better for the role of Don Jose. I think that's where you meant to go with this. If you know anything about opera, there is no denying Matthew is operatic, he is just too light for this role.
