Bizkits mix wasn’t balanced super well you can hear in his second round when he started goin crazy with the knobs the monitors were screaming and it got muddy as where robin was just cleaner I think that’s literally only why

Bizkit was still using the MK1, while Robin had the MK2. That’s a big reason why Robin’s loops sounded so much cleaner. Robin said in a comment on the original video that he thought he had lost, and that if Bizkit ever switches to the MK2 then everyone is in trouble.

In this one i think it came down to this. Bizkit had a technically more difficult set but Robins mixes were sooooo clean sometimes less can be more. Also Bizkit made more mistakes in some ways he was out of tune in places and he had accidental beat skips. Robins was so much more smooth

@@GrowingDownUnder Bizkit is usually good with vocals don't get me wrong he's no Robin vocally but remember what kind of battle this is. Technical ability and clean productions is the main judgment not the vocals. They are an extra piece. But I do agree his vocals were waaay off on that first one and they didn't come out as clear in the second.

Good take, I think the biggest thing to keep in mind is the minor differences in mixing quality we hear on the vids is expounded upon significantly when hooked to a full rig. Overall I think Robin had a perfect mix, perfect vocal control, and a overall wonderful sound, I think the biggest issue for Biz was exactly like BP said, his mid range couldn't keep up, he could have won otherwise.

@@benji0621 the thing is, technically bizkit was better the first round even watch inkies judge reaction he gave the first round to bizkit. However the 2nd round is the real round who decided the winner, yes robin had the more clean 2nd round and better structure in the 2nd round. But then you still have a tie it doesn't really make sense who would win when you have a tie like that, 2 rounds is not a good format in loopstation it should either be 1 round or 3 rounds then it's impossible to have a tie. I guess that's why there's 5 judges though, kinda makes it impossible to have a tie when you have 5 judges

@@GrowingDownUnder I mean it does but I also like the idea of 3 rounds you get to here what they are like on a consistency level sometimes no matter how much you practice you can have a bad set occasionally. But I also am biased and just love watching these so a third round benefits me lol. Either way Both of these guys are amazing and humble and just awesome in any venue between the two of them it could go either way

You know what’s crazy? So far all the underdogs in each battle won, not the favored to win. And I mean underdog and favored to win just based on where each ranked in their wildcards. Crazy too how the judges are preferring the straight musical compositions versus ones that brought the battle aspect. Seems like the opposite of how it went at the last GBB.

Robin is so unapologetically himself in his music and i think that's what really helps people connect to his music. In battles his style very much goes against the grain but from a music perspective, it just moves you. I prefer Bizkit in this type of setting but Robin gets better every time I hear him.

Robin precise, delicate, smooth, old school to me. Bizkit is the new age make it loud, almost annoying at certain points, no meaning just hype for a younger crowd. Think about B.I.G vs Mumble rap, it really just doesn't compare, at all. Smooth, Feeling, Meaning vs queue up and spins knobs to the max, lol its a joke. Either way its not me up on stage so props to both, my opinion, no competition. Can't wait to watch finals!

for me, robin's rounds had the quality, while biscuit's rounds had generic mush that anyone and everyone produces, it just felt generic and crappy.. no heart put into it just for the flashiness.. so i would have voted 100% to robin if i where a judge on that before even taking to consideration the mess ups biscuit had in general in both rounds

Oke, first of all the people under your comment are clowns, you can have a solide opinion without being able to create something yourself, very unadult, I don't know if they are fanboys of Bizkit, but Bizkit probably would be ashamed of them Second: Generally I understand what you mean, but Bizkit's first track falls out of that equasion, regarding his style it's absolutely the opposite extreme of robin and even though most loopers rather fall into bizkit's side of looptracks he still has his completely own style that sounds very different from anyone else, his mix this gbb was not good and tbh if his mix would have been good and he would have done less mistakes (you can relisten to some of his tracks on his spotify) he probably would have won that battle, but Robin winning is still absolutely deserved
