I hope I don't get any backlash for this, but: I honestly think, the future humans of this beautiful green and blue marble named Earth; will look back on Bjork and wish they were there. I'm going to say it; She is avant-garde, beyond this time, beyond this space, beyond this love. She is a great musician..... one written in history.

love like laughter I’m just glad I saw her live. It was that or a holiday in Barcelona and I made the right decision. Even with a bad setlist (for Bjork), 10/14 songs from the new album, it was phenomenal

Yup, you're right. Both Nujabes and Björk sampled Gigi Masin's Cloud for their tracks. Check out more of Masin if you're digging this.

Interesting you say that. I was unaware of her live performances until today (thanks to youtube)and all i was thinking was "is this how classical music/operas will be performed and sung?,,?? or maybe she comes from the future 200 years from now to perform this music!!?"

Watching this makes me realize why I can't stand Lady Gaga. Only Bjork could wear this dress without an ounce of self consciousness. She is a true artist and Gaga is such a pretender. When Gaga wears a McQueen it feels like exploitation. With Bjork it feels like a conversation between artists.
