Everyone always says Bjork isn't of this world, but I'd contend she's the closest to the mother earth as any human could possibly be. She's like seafoam, like volcanic ash, like a burst of lava. She feels unabashedly and vibrantly - with all of the sincerity of innocence, without losing the primal heat. It's reflected in the way she moves, her vocal inflections, her face, her lyrics. I feel unbelievably lucky to be alive during the same time as this incredible artist, and the incredible people who help bring her work into visual reality.

The nicest thing about Bjork (besides the fact that she's a natural born musician) is that she was never afraid of exposing her truth, feelings and connections to the world through her music and looks, against all odds. It takes courage to be yourself. Anyway, she never meant to be anybody else than herself. A brave. This is what it makes this woman unique.

I absolutely love Bjork, for me she is one of the most intelligent and creative artist of our time. The fact people say she is weird is because we have been formatted to behave and think by the industrial revolution standards, learn how to be a good worker or employee, in school we don´t teach kids how to think or to be creative. In occidental culture people have little or none spiritual knowledge and emotional intelligence, so many of us are faced with mental problems that skyrocketed with the pandemic. Listen to Bjork and open your heart and your mind.

One of the most beautiful songs she has ever written. The rest of the album really requires patience and a broad palate for art - but this song... this song is right up there with anything that would have been on Homogenic or Vespertine. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate this new album and I understand the pain that went into it's creation; very heart wrenching, but as far as digestible, universal music, this is about as good as it gets. Bravo.

It's nearly 4am, barely got back from work a couple hours ago and I'm exhausted. My tea is lukewarm and all the lights are off. I prefer it this way when I'm sitting by the window and need time to recover not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. Since I got the blessed opportunity to see Bjork perform for the first time here in Los Angeles, I've been diving deeper into her entire discography and am revisiting all of my favorite records. However, this was my first time seeing the video and listening to Stonemilker. But halfway through I burst into utter tears. The landscape, the lyricism, me clicking around to immerse myself within the beautiful panorama as if I were there, and clicking left or right just to keep up with Bjork. Seeing her genuine expressions, the heartbreak in her eyes despite her smiles and eccentric yet mesmerizing dance gestures and her gracefully swaying around by the ocean. It all overwhelmed me. For a moment, I kept clicking after her afraid that she wouldn't come back. And until I saw her smile up close, instead of comforting me, I broke down even harder and was flooded with an abundance of thoughts about life, love, loss, and nature. Maybe I'm just tired after a long day and I should be getting some sleep, but my goodness this felt truly cathartic. I haven't had a good cry like this one in a long time. Regardless, this is a song I'll be revisiting time and time again for as long as I live. Thank you Bjork.

Bad Romance has got to be one of the best pop songs and videos of all time. Yes Gagas and Beyoncés music may be more accessible and dance oriented than Björks but still have the technicality. +Katja Yount Romantic relationships are difficult for anyone. I can only imagine how much more difficult it must be for celebrities, especially so for musicians, who can be away from home on tour for months. Aside from the cancelation of part of her tour earlier this year, rumored lawsuit by her ex- ? Seems likely she's moving on with her life and doing fine. With so many more important things happening in the world lately, I've not been paying much attention to the soap opera lately. : )

blindmanchitlin I haven't either but I recall previous relationships she has had with other artists and the collaborations they would do together. Wonderful art but then one day it would just be announced that they'd part and I wouldn't dwell upon it until whatever next piece came out.

Katja Yount I never really paid much attention to her love life at all until this latest album, seeing as how it's so focused on the events of her break up, it's sorta hard not to notice. Perhaps this relationship ment a little more to her than some of the others? She's more mature and he is the father of her daughter. Perhaps she was thinking he was going to be "The One " ...? On a selfish note, at least it resulted in another beautiful (but sad) album for us fans. Especially this first track, Stonemilker, yet another song of hers that nearly made me cry the first time I listened to it. She is an amazing artist, as you said before, love her to death. It was her birthday last weekend, she turned 50 ! She's looking and sounding great though, always has looked to be younger than her actual age. Some have even suggested she might be the Fay Queen of the flipping Northern Fairy Relm. And say that she ages at a slower rate than the rest of us mere mortals... I may at times be inclined to acquiesce . ; )

GUYS. YOU CAN PULL THE SCREEN TO MOVE IT AROUND. Oh my god, just discovered this after being frustrated with the control arrows in the top-left corner. Glorious experience either way, and such an exciting prospect too. What a time to be alive!

I watched 2 minutes in and thought she just stepped out of shot to let us hear her voice and watch the waves then I saw her dress on the left of the screen. Being accustomed to ads throughout videos i didn't take any mind to the D-pad on the top left and completely ignored it until I went to click it then the cursor turned to a hand then I moved the camera and was like "WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT!!!! what the hell is this!!?? :D" on top of just barely finding her a week ago and addicted to every song so far. Words can not explain how magnificent this woman is! but numbers can 1000/10

The most special and significant song I’ve heard in my lifetime. Lives in my heart. Cry with joy every time I hear it especially 4.40 as it rises into the final string section and around 5.47 is when it takes me somewhere else and I unashamedly get emotional. Thank you Bjork.

Thank you for always pushing the boundaries and making your way to put those ideas. from within your weirdo brain, into the world. ALSO, kudos to Andrew Huang and team!

this hurts so much bc there is no wrong or right just points when the coordinates meet and them life. its so important to make efforts to understand a person, how does it feel to be in a certain position, comunicate, be really open and try to see things with more clarity, it takes courage to stay open in the mist of this, we have to show ourselves emotional respect and maybe someone will see us as who we are but to know and love ourselves it's enough.
