Beautiful intro Bjarne, a timber faller has always got to be on the ball and have a multiple of back up plans nutted out, planning is so crucial for having an out for every option you may need to take. It's excellent seeing and hearing you talk about what and why you do what you do, any young person wanting to get involved working as a tree faller could learn a lot from the experience's and knowledge you share. Cheers for the reel Fella, hope you and your family had a kool Xmas... Walt;

I know I’ve said it more than a few times that I really do love your music selections paired with elapsed time video as a way of passing time. The real truth is the more I see of you in action working the more I think I prefer to see you in action. I’m not saying that pairing music with elapsed time videos is bad, wrong or whatever like some of the negatives have done. It’s definitely enjoyable & highly relaxing so much so that I think it may be possible while in a comfortable chair if I close my eyes I might actually fall asleep. While watching you in action I don’t think I would fall asleep, unless maybe I was really overly tired. Love your work & your videos. Please keep them coming. Great job, content, video & thanks for taking the time to capture your work on video. Be careful & stay safe!!

Hi! I love hearing the saws in the distance in the woods and the helicopter too! Which part of Canada are you in? It’s beautiful!

Another great video Bjarne! Nearly every one of your days on the mountains could be an excellent example for a safety/training video for your timber outfit. They should have you mentor the new saws, get them working safe and using good techniques, and planning your escape.

Morning buddy, I hope you had a great Christmas and holiday. I'm glad to see back at it. Be safe, stay warm, stay dry, and also, your last gold exploration video was really entertaining. i hope that portal is on your claim because that would be really cool beans to see if u find some solid gold in there.

Thanks for watching. Ya the last mining video wasn’t the greatest. Was raining and the old GoPro mic was terrible. My editor did the best she could. I’m pretty excited about that claim. Was hoping to get confirmation on which claim that line was on before the holidays but will have to wait till January now.

@BjarneButler that sounds about right, to be honest. Nothing is fast with the government theses day's but thank god it's only the corner, though.

The "fence posts" you refer to would easily crush a car roof, so take care.

When i watch you cut into large cedar which is rotten i start thinking that we leave our trees to over mature and then have to play the salvage game. Could it be that the dead tops are the trees built in best before stamp? Or did the tops freeze solid before the sap had a chance to flow to the roots. One thing is for sure, forests love mountains and mountains make it very hard to manage forests!

I don’t actually know the biological processes that causes the tops to die like that 🤷♂️

You must have something new hanging on your belt on this block. There’s a new metal rattling noise I hear in the last few videos when you’re walking or wedging. I don’t recall it in the past.

Why do you drop your saw next to the stump?

Sometimes I do and sometimes don’t. I wasn’t expecting the snag to drop where it did but was aware it could.
