That first one---wow, I have never seen before. I was thinking you were about to dismount or something and then all of a sudden I hear him say "tap." That is an awesome move. Thank you.

The 2nd armbar and the Kimura are classics and great subs. I really like that shoestring armbars. Not one I've seen much of. I've been looking to add another mount submission and I think I've found my candidate. Thanks for the video!

I got in top mount 5 times last night rolling, I didn't know much submissions to pull off.... so I just crushed his chest for a few mins lol. thanks for this video am going to give this a go tonight

I just started jiu-jitsu and i have no submissions at all, so i just try hold them there so they cant escape 😂 works for the "not so trained" guys, but soon as a good guy comes along... i get subbed pretty quick 😂

It's nice to have someone put a kids point of view so that you could show this to you kid. I'm training for an in house tournament this weekend. Wish me luck

The shoestring arm bar was super effective, had to drill it couple of times in the gym but came in handy during the fight. A big big thanks from my part💯💪🏼.

Ive been bored and going through some youtube vids..... as someone who has been training BJJ for a long time I will say there is a TON of absolute shit out there. Especially from lower belts eager to make vids. Glad this isnt one of them! Good stuff man! Nice technique. I teach my guys all very similar things from the mount.

Been training for a few months. I have a pretty good defence and have been told my guard is hard to pass. Which is what ive been focusing on. But when i get into mount i draw a blank. And amusually swept back to a bottom position. This is great and will work on securing these subs when i get into mount thanx.

For me it feels like the shoestring armbar only works if your opponent doesn't try to bump or flip you over cause his legs are free, any tips there?

The second one is better if you staple with your leg on his neck bc someone that’s good at BJJ will either roll out or pull there arm out when you roll to your back
@JuJu845 жыл бұрын
Great! But with the first one, you can't tap out. How do you do this in a fight? You will break his arm. Just wondering.

@thomasblevins57873 жыл бұрын
For the shoestirng, whats to stop them from bridging you off? All of your weight is on the front, especially if you're leaning over.
@SunnyTekkers2 жыл бұрын
They won't be able to bridge with much effect because there's no weight on their hips. When you're in high mount bucking/bridging is ineffective most of the time.

I’m better on the bottom because not only am I a lighter guy , but , I have no clue what to do in full mount other than ground n pound
@MaadLuck4 жыл бұрын
That mount doesnt work on people heavier, high mounts for that matter. Theyll just buck you off. Theres nothing keeping their whole body down, weight not being evenly spread across will allow easier leverage
