Very few youtubers have a camera good enough to capture the fade out effect of the CX-30 signals at 16:00
@bjornnylandАй бұрын
It's because I shoot at 25 fps and the shutter speed is 1/50. Many youtubers use cameras without variable ND filters and the cameras in daytime will be running at high shutter speeds of 1/500 or similar. Then they get the flashing/rolling effect instead.

Always entertaining to see the thais reaction every time I screw up and start the window wipers, when I want to use the blinkers - and there is cloudless sky and not a raindrop in sight :) Nice to see you guys back in Thailand.

Fantastic video, and for the money you spend on shipping the empty boxes, you could probably have opened a factory here that would build custom branded banana boxes with your channel name on it :-)

I also own a BYD Dolphin Extended since about 15 months (36,000 km, 135 Wh/km average consumption) and I am very happy with it. Not good are the headlights and the ADAS. The infotainment system is improving through OTAs.
@pistonburner64487 күн бұрын
I'm curious: did you at all consider the geopolitical effects of buying a car from over there?
7 күн бұрын
@@pistonburner6448 Yes - but did you already check how many things in your household are made in China? Here in Thailand, non-Chinese EVs are not affordable or then even made in Thailand like Tesla, BMW iX3, Kia EV5, Volvo etc.. BYD (and others) already have opened new factories. What is your choice? Going electric or still buying polluting cars? My decision was not easy, but the perfect life is also not possible. I would prefer an EV from a Japanese or Korean brand, but all of these already have Chinese partners. Most of the EVs have Chinese batteries.
@pistonburner64486 күн бұрын
No need to be so touchy and get so very defensive. This is just a discussion. I'm afraid your: "How many things in my household are made in China?" is not valid argumentation. That is false argumentation called: "whataboutism", and also: "straw man fallacy". You see, no matter how many other things might be wrong in other areas or with other people, that is not an excuse in the matter under discussion. And secondly you are only making up that alternative scenario. I'll still answer your question for the sake of very thorough discussion: Almost nothing in my household is from there. I do in fact choose Western products or at least not made in that worst country when possible. And that is the key thing: "When possible". In some few certain cases it's not even possible to avoid buying products made there. But even then it's often possible to choose products made there but under a Western company. Anyway, in my household even phones are not made there, but in Taiwan. I would pay extra to get phones made in the west, but right now that is not an option. Some components in the phones and in my computer are probably made there, but again: in those cases there is no alternative or I would've chosen it. With cars we do in fact have an alternative. And it is a product of huge value as well as geopolitical importance. Therefore in my personal opinion there is no excuse for buying a product made there, and from a company based there.
6 күн бұрын
@ No, that is not Whataboutism. Western often are made in China (see label) and people don’t know. In my case; you think I should pay 3 times more for a EV which has no parts from China (if even possible) or still stick with a polluting car?
@kevins718Ай бұрын
