Excellent as always Bjorn, i really needed the walkalong with you today & thank you for the trip ! it helped to free my mind for a while as the body is trapped in the ghastly daily confines of my job ! well done it looked tough as Hell trying to walk through that deep snow & you enjoyed it "you are no snowflake for sure .... you always amaze me in addressing a subject that is usually on "my mind " its uncanny how often this happens ! a comfort & great advice i just wish i could give you a award for Bravery as you really deserve recognition for all your hard efforts in filming & great subject matter to many of us out here on the perimeters ! a lifeline of grounded sanity over these past 3 crazy years

Great ambition and a helluva hike! That self-service cabin on the hiking trail is amazing! Wonderful bonus provided by the trekking association. That type of facility would be trashed by "lowlifes" if they were available here in the USA. Thanks for sharing, Bjørn! 😊

I was on a trail at East Fork State Park a few weeks ago, there was a small wooden shelter along the trail and some Satanists had defaced it with upside down crosses, pentagrams and left a bunch of trash. Sad how little people here care about not destroying stuff.

Loved your walk you are so lucky Bjorn and I was so lucky to feel like I was their too, what amazing and beautiful land you have. It has brought me much happiness after my lonely day on my hill I long to hit the road and head for the wilderness to my favourite place on a hill overlooking the river Tamar at the top of red sands where I would camp over night and the views across the Tamar and woods are so beautiful, I miss all this and camping by the river it's pure freedom, but I'm tied to my hill rearing quail and working on my land and it gets lonely without mum here now,so I find your camping walking videos a great way lose myself enjoying what you do ,thanks so much, Martha on the hill in Cornwall UK.

'I have a similar problem as, after a bad leg break, one leg is 3/8" shorter than the other. What has worked for me for years is to make an internal lift for the short leg out of layers of felt. Felt doesn't compress much and the laces can easily handle the difference. I was developing a Sciatica problem till I realized that the leg difference was putting a twist in my back and I went to the lifts. So far no problems. Thanks very much for your videos.

I worked the north seas as a fisherman, made me laugh when "the deadliest catch" came on later. I worked the mountains, above and inside. (Core drilling) I worked factories; ALCOA Automotive Castings producing car parts for BMW, Volvo, Jaguar, Saab & Rolls Royce. Later i worked the nearby Bredero Shaw producing ocean floor gas pipes. Big enough to walk thru hunkered down; thick steel layered with reinforced asphalt on the outside and epoxy on the inside. I worked the cities; carpeting; renovation of houses; isolation roofing(most of all) and construing smaller structures like garages from ground up. I worked the nature; beautiful gardens and wild forests. From moving trees to cultivating to planting to harvesting. But the hardest(except the ocean) was bicycling; no joke; riding a bicycle as fast as you can thru forest is very demanding.. if hard tasks was a theme and it damn well better be after all this writing lol Be free folks @TheFreedomBayBITCHUTE

A few trips like that and you might recapture your lost youth and be able to do those ling hikes in 24 hours. LOL! I did about a kilometer of the worst of that hike once making a short hike to get to a pretty place to camp, going into the hills a month before I really should have. I think they call it lessons for life. There was considerable beauty to it though to ease the toil, but I am glad it was only a short distance.
