I haven't tried the DLC yet but from what I've heard it's supposed to be 40-50 hours. That's like people who told me they beat the original game in 30 hours or something, then I ask to see their map and inventory, and see that they discovered like 25% of the game, just skipped everything.

Why does FromSoftware put Sorceries in game if they're going to just treat them like an afterthought? The sorceries are basically just more of the same - sure some of them are a little better than the vanilla stuff, but it's just basically more blue bullets and rock attacks. Meanwhile incantations are getting massively awesome spells.

I feel the same way about scarlet rot. To me it's easily the coolest spell class, but it gets almost 0 support and scarlet aeonia sucks hard and is useless in most situations. The salt in the wound is that it costs 3 slots.

Druid builds are eating good in this dlc. Holy crucible miranda flower, bear head roar, bear claws, regular vines that look very strong, more pest threads, rotten butterflies that look stunning, breakdancing crucible thorn attack, the minor erd tree. List likely goes on. Get ready to pop a flower on your back and become the strongest gardener :3 🌺🌺🌺

I can tell some of these have been inspired by mods which is really nice. Fromsoft taking inspiration from the mods and balancing them is a really nice touch because now we have flashier spells that actually do decent damage without you becoming god himself.
