Man I wasn't too impressed the first time I saw him, but I'll be gdamn if he aint one of the toughest mofos I ever seen. His last fight was insane and this one might be even more impressive considering how heavy Vandermeer's hands are. Idk who gonna agree to fight Mohawk next lol.... he's got a chin made of pure granite to go with the heart of a lion and the stamina to throw punches basically non stop for the whole fight. I just can't imagine anybody wanting to fight this go going forward

I told my wife yesterday that Perry would win this fight because he is different than most fighters when it comes to pain and fighting through it. To sum it up, Eddie is a little crazy, but Mike is a LOTTA crazy. This also, in my opinion, is proving the point I've made about this "sport", if you can call it that. I do not see bare knuckle being around in 10 years. Chad and now Eddie, both very good UFC fighters in their day, have now quit bare knuckle. It is literally that bad in there. Look at their faces, most fighters will need plastic surgery after their first fight, never mind 2nd or 3rd. I know people will say, "Yeah, but look at Mike...", but it is what I just stated, Mike Perry is not a normal human being. There are not enough Mike Perrys around to sustain this as a replacement for MMA or boxing (which someone claimed would happen in a comment yesterday for a video preview of this fight). I've been a fight fan since well before anyone here in the US heard of Vale Tudo (anything goes) type of fighting. I watched the top heavyweight boxers on regular television in the 70's, then followed Tyson through the 80's, and started my move to MMA when the UFC started in the early 90's. But even for myself, this bareknuckle is tough to watch, and the only thing I'm thinking while watching is I hope they have a good plastic surgeon.
