@@ihavenoidea4727 if peds and growth hormone were mandatory protocols for combat athletes you'd see way LESS CTE and other permanent injuries because they'd heal faster and more effectively. The fighters that get it the worst are always the nattys. Look at Tony Ferguson, bisping, and all the other naturals who have serious permanent damage because they couldn't heal as much. Fighters on a protocol have taken similar or greater damage but that is not reflected in the wear and tear of their bodies or their longevity. Look at gsp, moving up to middle weight and getting the belt at his age, and Randy couture, who was at one point the oldest champion. That's the power of trt. Your problem is you think gear is cheating and bad for your health. When the scientific reality is, when used properly gear is first and foremost a MEDICINE, they literally give anavar to five year old girls who are brought to the trauma ward, to speed up recover and recover more than what's naturally possible. Every male fighter should be on a trt protocol and all fighters should be on growth hormone. And since most already are because growth is safe for women and very hard to test for, I guess that proves it. Being principled is great, when science is on your side. Seriously, your principles are getting fighters seriously and permanently hurt. Recover matters more to them than normal athletes, and recovery is the primary benefit of taking gear as an athlete. Even more than the performance boost. It's compassionate to the athletes to help them recover by leveraging all modern science.

I’m not sure what the judges saw, but I had Chad Mendes winning this fight. He took the first two rounds & 4th round, in my opinion. I feel like he landed more punches that did damage. He also exchanged any damage he took, almost immediately. Both men showed some clean footwork & high gas tanks. Especially, after some wars they’ve been in & the age that they are at. Much respect to these veterans in the fight game. On another note, does Mendes look like he’s been juicing? I’ve seen him compete at 135 up to 155 & his back, shoulders, & traps were never that big or defined.

This might've been my favorite fight this year in any sport and definitely the best bkfc fight I've seen so far and I've seen a lot of them. I met Chad Mendes in Santa Rosa at a Mule Deer Foundation dinner and he was a nice guy, bigtime outdoorsman, humble as could be, he took the time to talk to me a bit about his fights in the UFC. This was a very close loss, I was pulling for him, could have gone either way, he definitely messed up his hand during the fight. Takes a lot of heart to step in this ring, they both did great.
