BL B-Series Water Pump Replacement - Spanner Addicts

We’ve not long moved into the new Spanner Addicts’ shed. We have nice new concrete floors, with nice new paint on them. So everything the cars now drop is visible from 50 paces. I’ve been singing the Landcrab’s praises - it always starts on the key no matter how long it’s ignored, how well it runs on rotten old petrol, how it stops in an almost acceptable fashion.
And then it dropped a little message onto the nice shiny floor. And this little message, in the form of a tiny rusty puddle, said, “My water pump is knackered.” Thanks for keeping your message concise and to the point.
There had been no other warning signs that something wasn't quite right, so I was a little surprised when I stripped the pump out to find this...
All's well with the 'Crab now. Hopefully we may even get to drive it a bit before something else falls off...
